I had informed Expedia in advance about my late check-in, which the hotel had confirmed. However, upon arrival, the hotel cancelled my reservation and provided me with a room that I didn't reserve. The room had one bed and a sofa bed, while I had reserved a room with two beds. To make things worse, the sheets were dirty and had hair all over them. I had to inform the front desk, and they changed the sheets.
On the third day of my stay, I checked out early at 8 am, leaving my brother in the room to gather his belongings. I explained to the front desk staff that my brother would be joining me shortly and that I needed to catch a flight. However, the staff refused to check me out and refund my $300 deposit until my brother had left the room. This was despite the fact that we still had until 11 am to check out, and we were leaving early to catch our flight.
When I asked to speak to the hotel manager, they were of no help, and the front desk staff started raising their voice at me. I was shocked and appalled at their unprofessional behavior, and I had to remind them that it was not okay to raise their voice at a woman.
Overall, my experience at this hotel was terrible, and I would rate it one star. They were extremely unprofessional, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
