This hotel is ideal for those booked on early morning flights from Helsinki airport. The hotel is located in Terminal 2 on the lower level. Neither the daylight of the summer nights nor the sound of arriving/departing flights will disturb your sleep. No sounds infiltrate from the hallways or neighboring rooms. The first sound you will hear is that of the wake up call you requested.
The hotel is newly renovated and is very modern. The bed is comfortable with a selection of pillows from which to choose, and the bed linens are fresh and crisp. Housekeeping does an excellent job.

The hotel is excellent for those travelling via Helsinki and wishing to see the city. It is close to the airport, with a free shuttle bus every 20 minutes, and 100 m from a city bus stop. A ride to Helsinki city centre takes about 30 minutes and there are four buses an hour. The hotel personnel are happy to provide the bus schedule. Our room was clean and cosy, had an electrical kettle, tea and coffee, hair dryer, etc. Wake-up call worked perfectly. The personnel always at desk and very friendly and helpful.
The staff were fantastic. Arrived on my birthday and was given a little gift by reception staff. They were so helpful. Helped with suggestions for site seeing too. Free shuttle was a treat. Drivers were helpful and very nice. Would go back anytime
I was staying in Helsinki for only one night and had an early morning flight home so decided to stay close to the airport. Forenom Koto is VERY close to the airport. I decided to walk, and it was very easy.
The downside is that it's not a welcoming place. Outside was dark and there were a number of people milling around a shelter in the dark (drinking?), not far from the entry door - making it feel unsafe. The code I was given on arrival did not work so I tried to contact the helpline via the buzzer, but that button was physically broken. I had to wait for someone else going inside. The entry code worked fine for my room, but not for the main door. And I did not receive it via SMS prior to arrival.
I just tried to find an email address to report the problem with the code, but was unable. Hence the review.
