“Mixed feeling”

The hotel is next to a bar that is often loud during the weekends. If you're a family with small kids, this is not a good place to stay unless you're on really tight budget and cannot afford better. This was one of the cheapest places I could find around Vancouver. If you're staying on Friday/Saturday night, we aware that you will not be able to sleep if your room is facing the bar next door. They played loud music and I have seen a few drunk people peeing on the floor. Never staying there again if I am with family.

“Affordable but not fancy”

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful but would have wished for the hotel to be kept in better shape. Broken fire alarm, water tap, shower pull, and microwave made things a bit inconvenient. The rooms were clean enough, beds were okay. The kids liked the pool and the breakfast, although not fancy, was plentiful and appealing. Altogether, a good place to stay if you want to save money.

Dining
Lots of restaurants close to the hotel. Many within walking distance.

“Mostly gross”

The hotel is seriously run down. There is no insulation between the rooms, so you hear all activities of your neighbors (opening doors, brushing teeth even). As well you can hear everything outside the room too - traffic, trucks starting, people walking by. The bathroom was really clean and that is the only thing I can say about this hotel that was acceptable. I will never stay here again, and likely never in a Travelodge again. Who has bedspreads anymore? Gross. The pillows and mattresses were old, worn out and uncomfortable. The towels are so thin and threadbare you can see your hand through them. The outside is in disrepair, one of the rooms had the door lock beaten off and barely patched together. Replace the door! Clean the sidewalks! Clean the paths! Clean the stairs! Paint! One look at the outside and I knew we were in trouble. Sadly we had left hotel arrangements to the last minute and everything else was sold out.

“I got robbed during the night”

The hotel was barely acceptable, and the hot water was only luke warm and non-lasting. Then to top it off my vehicle was broken into the second night and my snowboard along with some other items was stolen. The staff was no help and the police said that's a bummer man. Bottom line is that yes its was cheap but not worth it at all.

“Great for the price.”

We stayed here two nights of a working weekend. It was close to all the places we had to travel and was conveient to public transit. Very basic room but clean and friendly. Very basic breakfast but fresh and tasty. Just what we needed and a great low price.

“Good Value in lower mainland.”

For those that require value and are not looking for extravagance this place fits the bill. You can relax in the swimming pool if you wish or you can shop or dine out at many different venues close by.Located just off the Trans Canada hwy it was easy to find.

“5 star service without the 5 star price”

For the price we expected a moldy room with awful customer service. We were completely surprised at the caliber of customer service and the attention they us. We had questions about travel routes and the manager and all the staff was helpful. The room although small was perfect. Every evening, our beds were made and our towels were clean. Given the opportunity to go back to vancouver we would definitely stay there again just for the customer service.. 5 star service with a 1 star price.....Thanks travelodge- you made our stay memorable..

Capilano Suspension Bridge Not only is it educational but absolutely breath taking. It's a perfect place to take pictures. Kids like it because its so high and couples like it for the scenery. A bit pricey but worth it. Plan on spending 3 hours there.

“Very nice hotel with a good price value!”

Very satisfied: -check in/out is 24 hr, which is very convenient. -we were very impressed w/ the fast service: before having our breakfast, told the front desk that our bath tub was clogged. after coming back from breakfast, discovered that the issue was fixed, that was like sometime during 30 min! -loved the breakfast: cereal, toasts, peanut butter and jam, bagels w/ cream cheese, fruit and all kinds of juice and milk. -the hotel location is really close to the highway if you need to go to Vancouver. would definitely stay there again!
