“Great stay in Vancouver”

We stayed here for five nights during November 2011. The hotel was very comfortable and in a central location. The staff were exceptionally helpful and attentive. Check in and out were very easy. We caught the SkyTrain from the airport to Waterfront station and then had a three minute walk to the hotel. As we had a few bags this was easy and convenient for us. There are plenty of eating options especially with Gastown nearby. The main station is only around the corner as is the ferry terminal to catch a boat across the harbour. I rely on traveller comments when I travel and would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anybody. Great value for money and nice and comfrotable.

Catch the SkyTrain into town. Very convenient for this hotel with the station nearby.

“Never Again Ramada”

Our room was booked and paid for previous a month ago...#1 - Upon check-in as I didn't have a credit card available at that moment, I was informed it would be another $150 cash deposit required...as I managed to move some monies around, I was then informed 5 MIN LATER that it's only about $40 needed on the credit card #2 - Then we were informed that their ONLY elevator was going to be serviced for general 'wear & tear' maintenance, & would be down the next day or two...we were then walking up & down the stairs to our room on the top 6th FLOOR... #3 - As we had our hair dyed the week previous, two of their towels had traces of hair colour on them...As they didn't know how to clean them we were charged for an entire set of linens - $100...#4 - In addition our sheets were NOT changed and cleaned the rest of the week, until the damages were paid off...Hence we brought our 'paid' towels and linens home in our suitcases... The only upside was their daily breakfast, which included sausages, eggs, waffles, pancakes, cereals, pastries and various juices...

“Ok, good budget hotel”

Good for the price and location not bad (near Gastown). Problem with loo that was advised on first day, and maintenance came several times but still not rectified after 3 night stay, but that was the only problem. Rooms quite small but adequate for price. Breakfast free and good variety of food with pleasant staff throughout hotel.

“Good value for money”

If you are on a budget and want to stay in downtown Vancouver, this hotels is probably one of your best choices. Its location is quite convenient, close to a SkyTrain station, bus stops and to the main sights. They also have a breakfast buffet and the staff can be very accommodating. We would stay here again.

Gastown-Chinatown, Yaletown, Stanley Park and the West End, Granville Island, Kitsilano.

“Needs an upgrade”

Very reasonable price and close to all amenities. Rooms very small and only double beds, no queen size. Carpet needs replacement as it was sticky with some unknown substance. Bathroom has everything you need, but again small. Air conditioner does its best, but not always succeeding. Breakfast is included and includes the usual bagels and pancakes. If you are on a budget and just need a place to sleep that is close to everything in downtown - the Ramada can still not be beaten.

“Excellent stay in Vancouver”

This hotel is conveniently located for the downtown Vancouver area including the waterfront. Most attractions are within walking distance as is the main shopping district. The hotel staff were friendly and the room was worth the money. Highly recommended and I would stay here again.
