“be careful might get burned”

the shower water suddenly get very hot, three of us already get burned, we reported, one clerk said some other is taking shower at the same time which is nonsense, because it is 6pm. another clerk said said the water filter need to be change, I am seriously doubt that expedia can do anything. this hotel is waiting for some body get hurt, especially little children get burned then they will take it seriously.

“Good price hotel”

Good location with restaurants close by. Supermarket over the road. Excellent free shuttle from hotel to train station and huge shopping centre. Well priced hotel with all the facilties we required (fridge, aircon, comfortable bed and good size room.

Area recommendations

Catch the train into the city or harbour complex. We were boarding a ship and it was easy to access from the hotel via the train.

“not amazing but not bad”

It really was nothing special. It really was just a place to come back to and sleep. not really somewhere where i would want to hang out for the day. I guess i would go back because of how close it was to metro and how cheap it was.

“Highly Satisfied”

I knew the neighborhood was a little out of the way (for downtown/West End Vancouver), but the price was favorable (on a Holiday weekend). And, in the end, the property turned out to me more than I expected with a pool, very clean and comfortable facilities, and extremely friendly staff.

Area recommendations

I'd RECOMMEND downtown for those wanting to enjoy the Urban experience, but on certain occasions that's either booked solid and/or too expensive. Aside from that, I'd recommend South of the West End -- eg, Broadway -- or North Vancouver for access to downtown and Whistler, hiking, etc.

“Will definitely use this Hotel again!”

I choose this hotel for two reasons. I was not looking for luxury by any means, I wanted affordable and wanted to be between Metrotown and Down town because I knew I would be spend a lot of time in both areas. The price was awesome! I had plenty of room, 2 doubles and a sofa bed, decent bathroom, small fridge, coffee, ironing board/iron for an awesome price. I was actually quite pleasantly surprised when I got to the hotel because it was only $10 a night more that the last place I stayed and that place was a creepy bump. All of the staff I met were super friendly(G. was great to talk with). There was a bus stop right across the street that would take me straight to the Metrotown Mall and it was only about a 5 minute bus ride. And from there you can take the Skytrain all the way to Down town. Taxi's were also quite in expensive compared to what I'm used to. Also the Hotel had a nice, big, red, RAMADA sign that you could see clearly from the road which made it easy to spot from the bus and from the taxi. There is also a Liqueur store, a Safeway, and a Starbucks right across the street.

Area recommendations

The Metro town mall is nice in the wet season because it is all in doors, there is expensive stuff and very inexpensive stuff, and it would take a couple of days to visit every store.

Nightlife

Salsa Duello every other Saturday Night at the Duello Academy. Salsa is so much fun and you have to bring a partner.

“Good basic hotel”

The Ramada at Metrotown is a good basic hotel. The staff are friendly and check in was quick. The room was clean and had a nice bed and fridge. Surrounding neighbourhood has lots of restaurants and shops, so you will never be hungry.

Area recommendations

Visit downtown Vancouver, its just a short Skytrain ride away from this hotel.

“Decent”

This hotel was clean and comfortable and was suitable for the price paid. The only negative comment I would mention is the food at the attached restaurant was terrible. I would not recommend it.

“Our room needs a major re painting. The bathroom ceiling was peeling off with some black spots betwe”

This hotel needs to be remodeled. Our room needs a major repainting, spots of white pains or spackle by the window on the wall. The curtains were not the same length. The room is overall dingy. I reserved for three people in one room and there were only bath towels for two people. The followitn day we saw the housekeeper and is pleasant enought to put another bath towel for the third person staying in the room. The way the room looked, we couldn't trust the cleanliness of the pub or the cafe in the hotel. We played it safe and ate out all the time. The clerk when we checked out was very nice, I wish he was the one who was there to greet us when we checked in. First impression always last.
