“Best service I've ever had!”

Great hotel in the heart of downtown Vancouver. Everything about the service was top notch, from the first person I met at the front desk to each employee I met in the hall. The breakfast lounge felt like a high-end restaurant. When I indicated that I wanted to take my breakfast back to the room, they packed it all up and delivered it for me, covering up the main plate to keep it warm. The room was both spacious and comfortable. All the finishings and furnishings were new and well cared for. Can't wait to go back! Simply the best hotel I've ever stayed in.

“Great atmosphere”

The rooms were very lovely. My husband and I usually frequent the Fairmont but this time decided to try something new. We were there for only a short overnight visit but room was really well appointed and the bedding very comfortable. Although we didnt have time to take advantage of it, the lounge was beautiful and we would have loved to had time to go in. As well the business centre looked very nice. It is a small gem in the heart of the city and we would definitely stay again.

“One of the best hotels I have stayed in”

Rooms, location and comfort were all outstanding, but what made this hotel was the care and attention of the staff. From the moment we arrived we felt really special. Particular mention to the concierge and front desk teams. I would highly recommend this boutique hotel.

“Would stay again”

This Hotel is located right in the middle of the peninsula that ends with Stanley Park at its tip. It is smallish ands rightly described as boutique. Because of its location it's a walk to the coast or the park or a short taxi ride if you don't like walking. We had a small suite which had a separate lounge and was a nice size. It was clean and had a small outside verandah we could access with outside furniture. There's a reasonable Italian restaurent next door. Overall a recommened place to stay in Vancouver.

Area recommendations

Stanley Park and extensive coastal walk. The Aquarium.

“Best Accommodations in Vancouver!”

Our stay at L'Hermitage Hotel Vancouver was extraordinary! We are a family of four. Our two children are under the age of 10. We stayed in a one-bedroom suite with full kitchen and it was PERFECT for our family. The staff was incredibly hospitable. We arrived early off of our cruise ship and they welcomed us and expedited the preparation of our room so that we could check-in early. The lounge is wonderful and offers and incredibly relaxing atmosphere to "decompress" with a light snack, coffee or cocktail. My children fell in love with, Hippo, the canine concierge and most exquisite French Bulldog I have ever seen. The human concierge :), booked us with reservations and preferred seating at fantastic restaurants including The Shore Club and Glowbal. The room, itself, was incredible: spacious, beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. Very modern and the kitchen was fully equipped if you wanted to cook there. I have traveled a lot with my children and L'Hermitage has to have been my ALL TIME FAVORITE accommodation with or without family in tow. My husband and I are dying for an excuse to go back to Vancouver just to stay there again. BRAVO!!!! From the ladies at the front desk who bent over backwards to handle every detail as we rushed to catch our flight home, to the incredibly attentive porter, we could not have asked for a better way to end our vacation. Next time this will be the destination!!!! I cannot say enough positive things about our experience.

Area recommendations

Downtown was great. Vancouver is a very pedestrian-friendly city. We also loved the Yaletown area and wish we had more time to explore the restaurant Glowbal was incredible and although our visit was brief....you, absolutely, must go for brunch. We had magnificent crepes and the fresh, blueberry pancakes. Our server, was incredible! Again, another 5-star experience.

“Difficult to match !”

I have stayed in many hotels in many cities worldwide and it would be difficult to find one that matched L'Hermitage. very helpful and delightful staff, from the front desk to the ladies that service the rooms. The suite was impeccable and very comfortable. The pool is more for show than function but still nice to have a dip.
