“Excellent, really enjoyed it.”

Excellent hotel, the staff were all fantastic. Everything felt very high class which was great considering I got such a great deal on expedia.

“Superb quality, location and service”

Right from check in to check out, the staff was the best we've ever experienced! Friendly, efficient and very courteous. We were given a superior room with a view and were so pleased to have a large balcony with a fabulous city view. The king bed was the best in recent memory. We ordered room service for breakfast and it came right on time, with that same great service. We had waffles, they were wonderful. As with all things, we weren't 100% happy about the in hotel restaurant finding the service there a little slow (even though it wasn't busy), expensive for what you got, and also quite drafty being right above the front doors. We also were uncomfortably cold trying to have a morning coffee at the Starbucks - that couldn't be helped as it was right by the doors which were constantly opening. (It was winter, so this being said, it would be a great place to sit in spring and summer). Oh, we must also mention for people looking for a great location - the location and parking couldn't be better. Its just a few blocks to waterfront and the vibrant downtown core, yet it is still tucked away a little and fairly quiet.

“Lovely hotel”

We love the Hyatt downtown. Close to the art gallery as well as gas town (10 min). Also close to Robson st. Spacious rooms. Hi tech elevators!

The Hotel clerk was most kind, gracious and polite and expedited my arrival and room once I showed him the voucher from Expedia. I had stayed there before and I would certainly encourage and sing the high praises of this Hotel to family, friends and whomever.

“Wife's moving in.....”

We loved it, and my wife threaten's to move in permanently. The location is central and within walking distance to most downtown attractions and the public transport is on your doorstep for all other destinations.

The best hotel experience I've had in a very long time. Everything was superb. The staff were very helpful, advising things to see and do, booking excursions and transfers. And the bed's mattress - perfect.

Clean, nice room within walking distance of food and activities and nearby cruise departure location. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

“Great place!”

Central location to everything downtown, right next to the train station and bus pick-up/drop-off. It's five blocks from the port (Canada Place and all the great restaurants and shopping. There is also a mini mall connected to the hotel. People are very nice and helpful, and you can buy practically all tourism tickets from the lobby (a small fee). The hotel will even exchange money for you for a small fee.

“Birthday Get Away”

I booked the Hyatt Regency Vancouver for my husband's birthday weekend. It was perfect. We are not high maintenance customers, but we still appreciate excellent service and a beautiful room. I booked a room with a view for a very reasonable rate. We got a King room on the 27th floor and were very pleased. It was beautiful. The slate bathroom was beautiful and we enjoyed the Portico toiletries. The bed was extrememly comfortable, which is always important since I have back problems and never seem to be comfortable in any bed other than my own. Service was great. I needed more coffee one morning, and only had to pick up the phone to request it. It was brought up within 15 minutes. We really enjoyed our stay.
