“Simple, Good Location Downtown Vancouver”

I was down for a few days before the Grey Cup Festival Week and needed a place to stay that was downtown. This location provided a relatively cheap and centrally located hotel. Nothing fancy central location to what I wanted and at a very affordable price.

Area recommendations
Stanley Park is always beautiful any time of the year, a walk/bicycle around the seawall is invigorating and beautiful.

“Good Location”

After reading other reviews we didn't have high expectations for this hotel so we weren't disappointed when we arrived. The hotel is an older building but the location is good & reasonably priced. It does have an odd smell when you first walk down the halls but you get use to it. We brought our laptop hoping to use the Wifi the hotel provided but we couldn't because they were having troubles with their internet during our stay. Overall, we had a clean bed and clean bathroom, so if that's all you need, then I would recommend this hotel. If you want a hotel with more amenities then I would suggest staying elsewhere.

“Perfect for what I needed!”

Great location, friendly staff. The room had a little to much "clean smell".

Area recommendations
You walk out the door of this hotel and it doesn't matter which way you go. All streets lead to cool parts of the city!

“dissapointed”

The hotel is located in a not very good area in downtown. it is an old hotel with foul smell in the rooms and elevators.The room floor was dirty however bed sheets , pillows ann the cleanness of washroom was not so bad.

“Sep in Vancouver”

I arrived in Van at around 2.30 in the afternoon and my room wasnt ready so had to wait over an hour(bad service badly organised!)They did store my case but after a long flight from London having to wait on a room that was booked way in advance ,its poor! Very friendy staff and the Wings restaurent is nice to have right there.Everything is near all the attractions to Van so location is brill.Internet in hotel great!Soda mashine on the floors (if the staff remembers to fill them up ofcause which didnt happen all the time) All in all fairly good budget downtown hotel with really friendly staff and in great location!Would be even better if the service was a tad better organised though...

All of downtown get a map and go ! Take the seabus to North Van which is amazingly beautiful!
