“Clean rooms, good location”

You can't beat the price for the room and location you get. The rooms were clean, the parking areas are under video survilence; the staff were friendly and the area is decent. If you are leaning more towards value, this is one of the best deals in Vancouver. My only complaint was that we were given an option through expedia of smoking or non smoking rooms, but the hotel is non smoking only so we had to smoke outside.

Dining
If you like greek food, go to New westminister. There is a great authentic greek restaurant that over looks the fraser river (Taverna Greka).

“Average at best.”

The location was a good place for people on the go. The commute to downtown is super convenient and not overall that long. While we were staying there the next room was under construction so it was noisy all the time. The beds were uncomfortable and the bedding was very thin for the weather outside. My next stay in Vancouver will be at a different place.

“Good hotel for the price”

booked our room thru expedia. we were given a different type of room than what we reserved, but everything else was okay. friendly staff, easy access to downtown and to nearby restaurants(mostly asian), nice complimentary continental breakfast, good sized rooms, well equipped & clean, theres also free wi-fi access and parking.

“good for price in van”

room is old but not too bad. room keys sometime didn't work. far from downtown and skytrain. room has coffee pot, microwave and fridge, free bf, wi-fi and parking, so it is good with the price.

“If I'm staying in Vancouver again soon, I'm staying here.”

This hotel was great. It was easy to get to via skytrain, just a short walk from Nanaimo Station, and the clerks were very helpful and attentive to our needs. The room came with a complimentary continental breakfast, which was really satisfying, they have great poppyseed muffins. Early checkout was no problem for them, and the clerk found us a number for our taxi the previous night, so we were right on time to make our ferry. There's also a McDonald's restaurant right beside the hotel, in case you're hankering for a late night snack. All in all, it was a great place to stay in the time we were there.

Area recommendations
I really enjoyed Fright Night at the PNE, and saw Judas Priest live in concert in their Epitaph tour. I really liked Kingsway.
Getting around
Get a day pass for the transit, or if you're there for an extended period of time, try for a longer pass(I'm not sure if the have week passes, but a week pass would be good). A pass lets you use the Skytrain, the buses, and you won't have to worry about change. The taxi to the ferry was expensive, so try to make sure you don't need to travel really early or really late, or if you do, find out the schedules for all the transit so you can get up early enough to make your connections.

“No the Best Place for stay for over 1 Night”

the Hotel has a Bad Location i mean is far from downtown and also has no restaurant so you have to go away for eat , are no restaurants in the area just a few that's means McDonald , subway , KFC, that are the restaurants is a few crossing the Street but are just like fast food to , the hotel is located next t a McDonald so as soon as you open the window you feel the smell at fat super bad, also the Hotel is total Cheap construction, you can definitively ear people talking or what ever are doing , not going that far the night before i check out the couple next door was having sex and i ear all about also the walls look like is going to fall down same with the painting in the wall look like a topical movie from a pour location in new York, the only reason why stay here it was for the free parking but location sucks , the hotel is a Cheap Option i do not recommend this Hotel at all , next time i will pay more and stay in a better place , staff is friendly always are looking after you.

Area recommendations
stay in grandville plenty of restaurants bars and things to do , walking distance for Stanley park and walking distance to all the places , if you have to go away from the area take the sky train easy and cheap too use if you driving leave the car in Seymour St is a Cheap parking for 10 bucks a Day

“It wins my next trip”

The hotel location is an advantage both for the hotel and the guest. Well maintained facility and staff are very friendly. The breakfast was good but can be improved on. I'ill recumbent to friends going to that locality.

Area recommendations
Generally, Vancouver is a peaceful city, but kingsway street seem pretty cool.

“Good motel”

Great location - on a bus route right to the centre (buy a day bus pas at the convenience store up the road). Nice motel. Breakfast area a bit cramped. The courtyard can be noisy if someone is rolling a suitcase over the slabs (especially late at night).

“Ok, but not more”

This Hotel might be ok for the ones which are not willing to spend much and have not big expectations about the rooms, service and the location. The Hotel is situated pretty much outside Downtown, but with bus or skytrain it can be easily reached. We got one of the worsest rooms I guess, close to the entrance and vending machines, the window leading to the back entrance. No chance to let your window open if you don't like a/c. The room was clean but the smell was awfull, like you would sit right inside a bottle ful of cleaning detergent. Much to strong and it took 2 days till it was not killing us anymore. But there are really not bedbugs and stuff, so don't worry. The included breakfast is not thrilling, better go to the restaurant directly across the street where you get something real. All in all this was ok, but some days later we got something for a similar price which showed that you could expect more. The staff was ok, but not very interested in what was going on. I wouldn't go there again, but it was worth a try.

“Decent hotel in a dbd location”

The hotel itself is clean and has everything you need. If all you are looking is a cheap room for the night, its perfect. But its not in a good neighborhood and not close to anything.
