Nice, Environmentally Friendly Hostel
Nice hostel, very clean, and I like the emphasis on sustainability. The folks running the hostel were very nice and keen to help out at all times. The location on Avenida Brasil was fine, about a 15 minute walk to Cerro Concepcion/Cerro Alegre (where you'll probably spend most of your time) - that said, there are several other options that are located closer to that area. Simple breakfast of toast and fruits was included.

A decent hostel
It's a hostel, so set your expectations accordingly. It is in a really old house. The patio is a nice place to hang out. Breakfast is provided but is basic - bread and jam and coffee. It is down in the commercial area of Valpo, which is convenient for shopping but it does not have the ambience of the residential areas. The staff is great.

Nowhere else to go in Valpo!
I spent three days in Valpo and I've had a great experience at the Nomada. The place is large, the dorms are huge, it's incredibly clean, the terrace is great and the breakfast is really good. The major selling point is the team of volunteers that take care of the place!!! Always there to help you, make you feel super welcomed and are very friendly. The best place to stay in Valpo! A special thanks goes to Capu for helping me a couple of months after my stay.

Det er et super hyggeligt hostel med god stemning. Vores værelse var fint og sengene gode. De delte badeværelser og fælleskøkkenet var altid rent og pænt. Morgenmad serveres fra 8.30-10.30 og er meget simpel men rigtig god. Der er kaffe, the, mælk, yoghurt, havregryn, friske boller, smør, marmelade, smøreost og kage. Alle ansatte taler engelsk.

Nice place
I was lucky to get a room with five beds directly when I arrived, although it was early in the morning. The place is nice, and an extra plus for the weekend treat at breakfast (apple pie).
