“Great Hotel”
Great hotel, typical Westin, effortless class without being over-the-top. good location.
“Lovely hotel, disappointing service”
A lovely hotel but generally service was far from the standard expected at a 5 star establishment. Every time we ate in the hotel lounge or garden we had to go in search of staff to take our order or provide the bill and on one occasion we were made to feel as though we were causing an inconvenience. A written request for enough soap and lotion for two people was ignored. Bathroom basin area was not adequately cleaned during our stay. The Hotel doormen were efficeient and friendly and one even recommended a great restaurant. Overall we enjoyed our stay but found the service disappointing.
“Great hotel, great location”
The Westin Valencia is a beautifully restored property. It is conveniently located close to the old city center and within easy access to the port. The staff is friendly and very helpful, they are young professionals with great enthusiasm. They have a beautiful terrace for getting together and having an aperitif. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan on coming back.
“Breakfast not included, ask when you check in!”
We were disappointed not to be advised the cost for breakfast at check in and again no bill was given to us at breakfast as is the normal procedure at hotels to ensure you approve the expenditure to be added to your bill. Complaints were not received well or addressed by hotel staff when we checked out.
“Recommended”
The Westin is a beautiful hotel with exceptional staff - we arrived after midnight after a flight delay and check-in was smooth and painless. Our room was missing a bathrobe and slippers but this was very quickly rectified in the morning. You don't have far to walk to find yourself in the centre of the old town and getting to the port/beach takes less than 10 mins by taxi. The Metro is also very nearby, close to the football stadium.
“Housekeeping”
Only one problem: Housekeeping service was very late in the day. My meeting started early in the morning and after the business lunch (3pm) I returned to an un-serviced room. They wanted to service it while I was resting for the night's activities.
“MotoGP weekend”
Excellent overall. Very helpful staff, room size was superb- would definitely go back.
“Overpriced, rude staff”
My wife and I went here on our Honeymoon and the staff treated us very poorly. With the exception of Pablo the bartender the vast majority of the staff seemed aloof and unhelpful when we needed assistance. Paid for the romantic package and daily breakfast, had to fight with front clerk for compliance. Our room was small and mediocre, internet was overpriced at 18 Euros/24 hours. 15 Euros per Mojito; wasn't told until bill came. DO NOT BOOK!!
“Valencia and The Westin Hotel in May”
Fantastic hotel lovely bedroom and bathroom. Did not try restaurants but had tea outside. Valencia is a beautiful city with a park and very modern museum buildings on the old river bed after the diversion of the river in the 70s. May weather was perfect. Thank you very much Expedia.
“Very good”
Excellent hotel. Close enough to the historical center of the city.
