“Historic Hotel refurbished well in superb position”

This hotel was great value for money - superbly situated on Town Hall Square and made all of Valencia city easily accessible on foot. Service was excellent staff very helpful. Good room - nice bar - did not try the food - but looked excellent Would recommend and go back

The hotel was beautiful and we had a really big room...although we didn't have a view but it didn't matter. It was very well located and very easy to get to from the airport. We took the metro and it was about a five minute walk to the hotel. The buses we needed to get out of the city centre were also very convieniently located.

“The perfect location”

Although unimpressive on the outside, this hotel is clean, comfortable and in a superb position for visiting the centre of this beautiful city - the cathedral is within easy walking distance. The breakfast buffet is superb and, although we usually eat out in the evenings, this time we had two evening meals at the hotel. The quality was excellent and the price was good value. We have stayed here three times now and will return - but ask for a room facing the street as the others, facing inwards are rather dark. Great position; good value.

“great location”

this is a very nice hotel in a great location for exploring valencia. staff are helpful but not over the top. the buffet breakfast is nice but pricey at over 12 euros per head, you can get a much better deal by going out. the rooms are not great for relaxing as ours was very dark with only a very small shuttered window overlooking a tiny courtyard. that said we only went back to the room to sleep so not really a problem

“Good centrally placed hotel for visiting Valencia”

This hotel continues to maintain a good standard and remains one of the best places to stay in the centre of Valencia within easy walking/public transport distance of the City

“Great location - friendly english speaking reception staff. Noise is a factor though.”

This hotel has a great central location and very friendly competant english speaking reception staff. It is clean and has some nice Art Deco features. It is however prone to noise. The walls are paper thin and with wooden floors in corridors and rooms the echo effect is large. Any talking in the corridors seems as though it is happening in your room. If you are a sound sleeper this is a great base - if not look elsewhere as the cleaners will wake you up clattering around in the halls!

“brilliant location, comfortable hotel but not well maintained”

brilliant location, most sights and restaaurants were within a short walk. great value for money. however in our room, the door to the bathroom was jammed open, and air conditioning was not working: both were already noted down on the back of the door but nothing had been fixed. I added that the shower didn't work properly either, ie it kept slipping down and spraying your feet. however the room was comfortable and clean.

“Not perfect”

The hotel was ideally located close to the old town and main squares. Parking is a major problem, we had to park about 400 metres away. It was also very expensive. During our stay the bar and restaurant were closed for the duration without any reason given which was a big disappointment.

The hotel was clean and serviced daily. The staff were friendly and helpful and its central location makes it a good base for sightseeing in Valencia.
