“Excellent location and fantastic breakfast with views over the rooftops of Valencia”
The hotel is well located and within easy walk of the metro station which is on a direct line from the airport. The room was clean and spacious with free water supplies in the minibar and a whirlpool bath. Breakfast was fantastic with roof top views over Valencia and a wide array of fresh and tasty food.
“Will return”
Most pleasant hotel with every ammenitie. A very nice touch was the welcome - a small bowl of strawberries left in the room after arrival. Water was available in the mini bar both sparkling and still and free of charge for the occupants use. All staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast were fantastic with just about anything available and should just about please everyones taste.
“Excellent hotel”
The Ayre Astoria had a fabulous central location and looked and felt 'a cut above'.The square it is on has three tapas restaurants and although we only tried one, wanting to go further afield, they all looked good so you certainly won't starve ! It really is a stone's throw from the main sights. We didn't have breakfast as part of our deal but soon located Starbucks nearby and the Mercat Central as well as plenty of little patisseries for cake and coffee. The supermarket in El Corte Ingles is also ten minutes away. Having said that the best coffee I had all holiday was from the hotel bar ! The room was clean and spacious but we did have to ask twice before they brought up a third bed for our daughter and the toilet kept blocking which when we asked did get fixed. Typical Spanish plumbing but not what you'd expect from a 4*.Hotel staff were helpful and friendly if not all particularly strong English speakers. I wouldn't have chanced a really specific or complicated request. Really glad we booked this hotel and would definitely recommend to others.
“Excellent Hotel in Valencia”
Excellente experience in this hotel, this is 200 mt closed to mercado central. Room was very large with an atrium and the biggest and cleanest bathroom (with 2 sinks) I've never seen in all my travels. In the quite square under the hotel there is a Bar with external tables. I suggest this hotel to all.
“All good”
A great hotel for our needs which is just a bed. The room, bed and bathroom was good, nice for an afternoon siesta after a a busy day touring. We didn't eat at the hotel or use the bar as there were so many places near by for good food and drinks. This hotel is a great base to explore Valencia, easy walking distance from the heart of the old town.
“Pleasantly surprised”
The hotel was very central to Valencia but tucked in a quiet plaza so we had no noise disturbance. All the staff were very curteous and reception staff spoke good English. The room was large and comfortable with air conditioning and was very clean. I would definitely recommend it to others
“Very goo location”
The hotel was very convenient and staff helpfull. On our booking breakfast was not included and perhaps a little expensive but there was a very nice selection and cooked food was prepared freshly for you. Anyone thinking of going to Valencia then you won't be disappointed. Use the hopper tour bus to get the feel of the city as it has a lot to offer in the neighbourhood. We went in late November and had pleny of sunshine to make the trip really lovely
“Perfect Location.”
Great Location in the heart of the old town , felt totally relaxed and would use the same hotel again , great experience.
“Good hotel in a very central location”
Location is central and very good. Hotel looks excellent from the outside. Reception and common lounge are is nice, and the staff is helpful. From the inside, the room we stayed in was a bit outdated and needed modernisation. It didn't have any views. However, given that the rate we were on was quite good, that was acceptable, and the room was perfectly comfortable.
“Charming service, comfortable rooms”
Like others, I had to request a different room. My room had been accidentally labelled a smoking room and smelled that way. My request was courteously handled and swiftly carried out. If you have booked a standard room be prepared for rooms that overlook a utilitarian courtyard. The rooms themselves were well appointed and perfectly comfortable. I was a woman on my own and feltsafe walking in the streets around the hotel's neighbourhood. There were two gentleman's clubs on one of the streets leading off the square but I noticed no one drumming up business and the square had a restaurant with many outside tables that were always full. The hotel restaurant has a Michelin star.
