Lovely Hotel

Posted 17-Mar-2015
Such a special place; fantastic staff, super cool rooms. (We had three rooms; two of them were very unusual; slanted ceilings in one with rooftop windows, another was very lofty and spacious. Only one was just ordinary, but still very clean and comfortable and not small by European standards.) The only knock is what is apparently a very nearby daycare that can be noisy. Close the windows and use a white-noise app and you're fine. They also have a garage for rental cars. We'll be back.

A Hotel that represents Valencia

Posted 09-Mar-2015
Pros: Close proximity to the city centre and also to the River bank area and scientific park every thing was easily accessed by bus train or walking
Cons: very little needs to be improved just need to be maintained
Location: Hotel is surrounded by the city centre and all the tourist attractions are easily reached and local Bars and Taverners
Having visited Valencia over the last five years, I have finally discovered a Hotel that represents the people off Valencia. Truly very caring and fun loving, able to meet every need of their customer's with out effort and little work they made our stay memorable and trouble free, The hotel is clean and tidy at all times and you don't actually realise there are other residents.

Enjoyable short stay

Posted 03-Mar-2015
Pros: The hotel was formed around fragments of the Roman and Arab city walls. The QR codes dotted around the hotel enable you to find out more.
Cons: One drawback, on occasions when the wind got up the heavy metal door would bang loudly.
Location: The hotel is a short walk from the Placa de la Seu, place de la reina and the Turia Gardens (Jardines del Real).
We stayed in the hotel for four nights in February 2015. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable, we both slept well. The hotel is in a quiet neigbourhood close to the cathedral. The shower was very good. On the day we chose to take a bath the hot water supply failed. It would have been helpful to have been told that there was a problem. There is a small but lovely bar space with a beautiful courtyard area outside, where we sat with a tea reading the complimentary Times newspaper.

Minimalist design hotel just right for the city

Posted 19-Feb-2015
Pros: Attentiveness of the staff.
Cons: Open the restaurant! Their advertising bangs on about how renowned it is, yet it's close for half the week.
Location: Everything close - Cathedral, museums, fine buildings. New arts and science complex looks good - Oceanografic is worth the cost, science museum isn't.
Great hotel, very attentive staff. Free minibar (but no alcohol). Breakfast was excellent - freshly cooked egg and bacon to order; lots of small cakes and biscuits; along with usual cold meats, cheese, smoked salmon. Only downside was that the restaurant is closed for most of the week - go towards the end of the week if you want to sample its delights - I was really disappointed, as I only had a meal on Saturday. However that did give me a chance to sample the delights of Seu Xerea which was fine dining at a reasonable price (Calle del Conde d'Almodóvar, 4 - five minutes away. Also enjoyed La Salvaora (Calle Calatrava 19), also close by.

Hard to find get up to date sat nav mines 10 years old nightmare. Worth it though right in the middle of old town yet 10 mins from Calle de Collin main shopping area. Room was superb bar and restraint special food excellent staff best I've come across. Lots of restaurants and good tapas bars within easy walking distance had a car but didn't need it. Tapas bar in central market worth a visit

Impecável!

Posted 20-Jan-2015
A gentileza e atenção de toda a equipe chama a atenção logo no check in.

Excellent location .Faultless customer service.

Posted 20-Jan-2015
Pros: Location, quality of hotel and staff attitude
Cons: Being really critical the Bar area was a little sterile , however in the spring with the doors open onto the terrace I imaging it works well.
Location: Central location in old town, however far enough away from the tourist routes to ensure no passing noise or disturbance.
Discreet Hotel, central to all attractions, bars and resturants in the old town and a great base for exploring the wider Valencia. Service and engagement of staff exemplary. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful boutique hotel in Valenci'sold town.

Posted 31-Dec-2014
My fourth trip to Valencia and I thought I'd try a different hotel after having been disappointed by the one I usually book on my last visit. The location of the hotel couldn't be better. A few minutes out of the door and you will reach the Plaza de la Virgenes and the cathedral. Most of the sights you'd want to see in the Old Town are within walking distance. Colon metro stop is not too far away if you choose to use that means of transport from the airport. Hotel room was very comfortable. My double room was very spacious and the minibar of soft drinks and water was complimentary. Staff were both courteous and friendly. Checking in and out was quick and any enquiries I made were dealt with promptly. wouldn't hesitate to return.
