“Veracruz Spa - Valdepenas”

The hotel itself is very good. Rooms modern, and high quality. Secure parking under the hotel also good, but rather tight getting in & out. Bar was good, although does allow smoking, so could be a problem if many other users are present. Hotel restaurant was virtually non-existent. Snacks available in the bar were OK, if rather basic. Local custom has dinner starting very late for most non-Spanish. We were starved, but bar-snacks kept the wolf from the door. Breakfast was OK, but the room obviously was built as a conference room, rather than restaurant. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Did not check the spa facilities, so no comment on these.
