We are from Canada and just arrived via Lyon, which wasn't a great experience. It was a nice change to spend some time at a friendly place, with a pool and restaurant. We have our dog along so the walking path out back was super convenient! We will stay there again for sure!
I love this hotel because it is in a beautiful and quiet setting and yet convenient to the area of Antibes.
The breakfast buffet was terrific.
They allowed my dog to stay for a small fee.
I hope to return for sure.
We found the hotel easily by GPS (had the coordinates programmed from Google Maps). It is in a rather remote location, but you get free parking, free wifi, clean rooms and very friendly staff who also speak English well. Only thing I missed was a bathroom door that can be locked (our room had a regular door knocker with no locking mechanism whatsoever).
This is a great alternative to middle-of-nowhere hotels for travel to Sophia Antipolis. It is nearby (15 min. by car) and is in the middle of a nice village, with restaurants, shopping, etc. Breakfast (if not included) is relatively cheap (12 Euro) and just right-sized.
Having said that, it is not a business hotel and some things a business traveler might expect are just not quite there. It is in the middle of a pedestrian district - parking in the village is free, but you have to walk (with you luggage) for about 5 min. to the hotel. The bath is more of an older European home then a modern hotel. Some rooms can be quite small.
For me the trade-off will be worth it and I will be coming back here, but it may not be for everyone.
