I am not sure what else you could ask for in a hotel for a Ski break. My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights and thought it was brilliant. We stayed room only, and felt the room was really comfy and good value, the hotel felt of a high standard throughout and the ski access was second to none - walk out the locker room straight onto the piste.
We didn't eat at the hotel, but enjoyed relaxing on the terrace with a beer after skiing, or sitting in the lounge in front of the fire.
Excellent service from the staff, and a wonderful location.

really enjoyed our stay at Le Fitz Roy, comfortable settings, stunning design playing with natural materials (stone, wood, fir) in an imaginative way and positioning them so one can notice and admire the circles in a wood piece, for example; beautiful and comfy bar area with even bettter staff - professional, attentive, naturally interested in their guests, with good knowledge of local wines and spirits; we enjoyed the bar nibbles immensely (chef is very much into olive tapenades); clean rooms and public areas; staff at Reception very friendly and helpful;
We arrived at the appartment building and after checking in decided to take the stairs to the appartment as the lifts had about 50 people waiting for them. The apartment it self was completely not what we had expected or booked, It looked tired worn and dirty. There should have been twinbeds but the only thing there where Singles and Sleeping sofa's We left after 5 minutes there and when to the Tourist board to find another place. We had a very comfortable stay the room was clean and had everything we needed. close to everything.
The morning we left at 5.15am our taxi didn't turn up and Trevor arranged a new taxi for us and contacted our ongoing transport at moutiers to explain we may be late. we arrived on time !!
Excellent service from Trevor and could not be more grateful for his help that morning especially as I was travelling alone with two teenage lads!
