The hotel is very central to restaurants and shopping. We went for the Weihnachtsmarkt in December and we were able to walk there easily. The room was clean and roomy. There is a sauna and relaxation area in the hotel that was very inviting. There was also coffee and tea in the lobby which was nice after coming in from the cold.
This is a very neat hotel, and the most comfortable hotel bed I have slept in for a long time. You have though to make sure where to wait for the shuttle at the airport. I first waited at Terminal 1, but after a while, I was picked up by a bus driver who took to Terminal 2 where I was able to get into the hotel shuttle. But I still think the hotel is an excellent deal for the price in Paris Charles De Gaulle area!
First off, if you want to wake up to see the Eiffel tower outside your window and all that jazz, this isn't the place for you. Everyone else, this is the place for you. Everyone from the bellhop and cleaning crew to the manager on the floor was extremely helpful and nice.
The buffet was pretty hearty and beats all but three buffets I've seen in my travels in France. The bar environment and service was attentive and extremely nice.
The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. My wife is use to having facilities for tea and coffee in her room before she starts the day. That was not available the first day, but the hotel made sure it was available and ample the rest of the trip. All and all, I highly recommend this place, especially if you prize some down time and peace after running all over Paris.
The pickup and drop-off at the airport was quick and easy. The food was good, breakfast was exceptional. Room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel was everything you could expect. Highly recommended for your stay near CDG. We will stay there again.
What a gem this is!!. It sits overlooking a small lake surrounded by a swish little town with good cafe's,restaurants and upmarket boutiques. It is only a 10 minute journey into Paris Nord station. Don't be put off by the fact it isn't in central Paris being in the suburbs works really well and trains travel till late with only a 5 minute walk to the station - in a very safe area. The hotel is very comfortable and the rooms are a good size, far better than we would have got in central Paris (if you can, request a room with a balcony overlooking the lake which is great for early evening drinks) The staff were polite and helpful - not that we needed them at all. Would not hesitate to stay here again and neither should you!!
We chosed the hotel because of the advertised facilities offered and we were so excited to arrive as we also celebrated our Honeymoon. We were delighted to meet Charlotte from Guest Relations, she escorted us to the room, described the venues, opening times, recommended us to have dinner inside of the hotel and enjoy the pool and we did.Charlotte is a great asset for the hotel, she understands what personalised service means.
Room was amazing, bathroom amenities the best. Many thanks to Housekeeping Department..took care of every detail,we always had fresh towels,a clean room, the bed made, fresh sheets.
At Brasserie Restaurant all the staff members were looking well groomed, really helpful also.not impressed with a lady with blondish short hair who seemed a manager...she was there in the evening..stockings scratched wearing a red blouse..just like a guest..image is important and all staff members were looking perfect in their uniform.
Security and bell men - all very helpful..they had the right initiative at the right time to assist us in offering information in regards to shuttle bus for example...they were always smiling.
Reception...we believe as a 5 stars hotel the personalised service is missing...2 ladies were talking while my wife was waiting at the desk no apology or empatize when asked why wi-fi is not working.
overall great hotel very clean very comfortable
Everything was great. The front reception name maimona did an excellent job in accommodating us when we arrived so late in the morning of 3am instead of 3 in the afternoon due to missing the bus and train, so she extended our checked out time butt since we didnt need it all we need was a few hour of sleep and a place to take a shower but her hospitality was very much appreciated.
This is the most elegant way to prepare for an early morning departure from Roissy. No need to take a shuttle bus; you simply walk downstairs to reach the airport check-in area. Rooms are quiet and attractive; staff is friendly and helpful; there are two restaurants -- a brasserie for informal dining, and a more gastronomic restaurant for those who want to celebrate a last time before leaving Paris.
