“Close to everything in vail”
Even in the offseason this hotel provided all accommodations including pool, hot tub and breakfast in the AM. Friendly staff willing to go out of their way to help us print our boarding passes and open dormant pool room. Would return here!
“Great hotel at a low price, within walking distance to Vail Village”
The Evergreen Lodge was a wonderful hotel to stay at. The concierge at the front desk was really helpful and insightful. The room was really comfortable and super clean. And best of all, the hotel was 10 minutes walking distance to Vail Village center.
“Just right!”
This hotel exceeded my expectations. Nice heated outdoor pool and great indoor hot tub and sauna. The room was comfortable. The hotel has been updated. It is a great and easy location that is close to everywhere in Vail.
“A nice place to stay”
For the price I got through Expedia, this was a great deal, especially for a location like Vail, CO. The hotel was nice as was the staff. Pillows like most hotels could use a little help. The tub needed a little drainage help as well, but did finally drain. If you want an affordable place to stay that's within walking distance of local transportation this is one to check in to.
“Good deal for vail”
The hotel was decent- definitely a good price for location. We often didn't find someone at the front desk to help us however, and as would be expected, food was overpriced. In hindsight however, we would eat at their morning buffet as it would be cheaper than eating in vail.
“Average”
The hotel room was a little dated and the window was totally broken, but everything was clean and very convenient and the price was right.
“Great ski hotel”
Hotel was perfect for our family of four (dad, mom, and 2 college-aged kids). It is reasonable priced and the shuttle for Vail is quite convenient, being just a short walk out the back door. We were pleasantly surprised with the large room near the front door to store skis, snowboards, and boots. It has a secure access using your hotel card key. There was also a mini-fridge in the room, which was convenient. Nice fireplace in the lobby. No complaints. Will definitely stay here again. Parking is tight and if you need to park more than one car for your hotel room, there is a charge.
“Convenient”
Lodge was close to the slopes; bus out the back door and one stop to the village. There is a restaurant/sports bar in this lodge and the food is absolutely excellent. (Dinner) It caters to local workers and gets a bit noisy, but the quality of the food is first rate for the price.
“Great place!”
This hotel is within walking distance to Lionshead Gondola as well as Vail Village. The walk to the 'one stop away' shuttle was a little scary as it had snowed a lot and the walk was icy. The rest of the services are good. If you go to ski, this is a great place. We would definitely stay again.
“Evergreen Lodge”
Good price for the location. Hotel has excellent service, staff and ammenities. The bed however, is one of the worst beds I've ever tried to sleep on. I would have paid more just to have a comfortable bed to sleep on. I can't stress enough how uncomfortable this bed was. The floor would have been more comfortable.
