“Very standard”

The hotel was very standard American type hotel with not any real character. However it was clean and relatively convenient to sites.

Area recommendations
Better choices - with more character in heritage part of town.

“Nice, Clean, Central Place”

Located at a waliking distance to the majority of the attractions of Colonia, we recommend this hotel to spend 1 or 2 nights, walk the street of the town or rent a golf cart and drive around the whole city. The staff is very friendly, and the rooms are confortable.

Area recommendations
Old Town, and do not loose the opportunity to see the sunset from the yatch club.

“Small boutique hotel next to Casino”

This Radisson property is on the water with a nice view of the river Plate and is a short stroll to the main street and historic quarter of Colonia

Area recommendations
The old town of Colonia is quite historic. Everywhere is within walking distance.

“Solidly good choice”

Great moderate-sized hotel in ideal old area of Colonia. Great view and terrace with rooms looking over the pool and out to the Rio del Plata. Minor mix-up in reservations was gladly and quickly resolved. Good facilities and breakfast. One of the two or three best choices and values in town.

“Colonia Radisson”

Liked the hotel, room was great, get the river view room with balcony, well worth it. Huge tasty breakfast in restaurant that also overlooks the river. Everything in the historic part of Colonia is only five minutes walk away.

“Panoramic View in Colonia”

thisohtel is based strategic point of Colonia, close to de historic dowtown and over the river,the panoramic view its Fantastic. the best rooms,river view on the corner. FYI and for Ask:there is an engine(from the kitchen??)that made a lot of noice...

“Radisson - Reliable, quality hotel in a great location.”

The Radisson delivered exactly as expected and was a reliable, quality hotel in a great location. The hotel itself is large for Colonia but has an intimate feel and for a couple of relaxing stress free days was just what we were looking for. We had a bit of a disappointing arrival as we had to battle with the receptionist to get the room with a river view (as per our Expedia booking) rather than the standard room which they initially assigned us (nb the standard room was perfectly nice it just wasn't what we had paid for...) but once we were settled into our room everything else went pretty smoothly. The facilities (pool, restaurant, room service) were very good and we had a very pleasant stay.

Historic centre, UNESCO approved and very tranquil.
