Great location, within walking distance to shopping streets and Ciudad Vieja. The most fabulous employees I came across in recent years. I would like to compliment mostly front desk- reception as they were all absolutely amazing. The manager Alvaro is the type of person I would hire in any property in a world. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness. True leader as his team was equally great without exception. The lady manager in the breakfast room also full hands on, personally checking the buffet and greeting all guests seating at the table with a big smile. Room specious and always clean. Thanks to the people this property has, our stay in Montevideo will be one to remember the most. Thank you again for looking after us. Well done!

Location. Staff excrllen Needs more attention on details. Entrance hsndrails were loose. Plants good for decoration but prevent holding to entrace building. Phoces at 35 cents a minute is abusing. Personnel constantly ready to serve. I d go back

Am I staying at a SHERATON?!
Located in a bad neighborhood. Parking was full so we had to park a block away from the hotel and pay for it. Nobody available to help with lugagge. People from the front desk had to do it. There was an old car exhibition going on so outdoor parking (hotel guests!?) was not an option :( I’d have expected this at a 3 star hotel, not at a Sheraton

Convenient Hotel
Convenient location with helpful staff and easy parking. Good value with spacious rooms, but nothing glamourous. Good for a short visit to Montevideo.

Awful Hotel
This property is awful. Reception staff were rude and unfriendly when checking-in. The room was very old and basic. Plus very noisy. All in all a horrendous experience.

Very nice hotel. They have a great eco program and provide a payback rate for not using the services. Room was a bit loud: I could hear the people in the other rooms clearly. Restaurant was very good and so are the restaurants in the neighborhood. Service is great

The hotel is pretty good inside, food is good, and the staff is very nice. The neighborhood is just not the best, especially at night. Of course, you can always take a cab/uber to go where you want to.

Great hotel in Montevideo downtown

My first assigned room was smokey. After given another room, I had no iron/iron board, no soap, room was not cleaned and to add insult to injury was given an old iron board and iron that stuck to your clothes. Hotel is in a nice location but rooms can do with some upgrading.

Clean, comfortable hotel in Montevideo
Great hotel. The rooms were huge, clean and comfortable. The location was perfect. The view from my room was the Mercado de abundancia - a huge indoor food court, but not a mall kind of food court, a food court with steak and wine. It's not as good as the one at the port (which is a must) but it's still worth checking out. The hotel is also within walking distance to old town and the river. Staff was very nice, very accommodating. Breakfast was good. The area around the hotel felt busy and very safe. There is an information kiosk across the street.

Great location to everything,best and friendliest
The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. We checked in 3 hours early and were on the top floor with a view. When we checked out the staff let us stay in the room so that it would be more convenient for an evening flight. The front desk staff assisted in tour and transportation arrangements. Excellent service made our stay in Montevideo a memorable one.

The hotel itself is decent, and it's in a good location, but it is not nearly nice enough for the price. Also, the description said that I would get free breakfast and wifi, and I had to pay for both. The wifi was very weak, and when I complained about it at check-out, they told me that I should have complained earlier, as they only give the high quality routers to people who complain!

Nice location, near to restaurants and market.
I stayed there for 4 nights. Its a good value for money. Nice location, good hotel facilities, gym and Sauna and environment. Infact i had changed to this hotel from another hotel which was charging the same $125 per night but with a horrible rooms. Four points was a good experience. Near to many restaurants and main market. Sea is 7 block , 10 minutes walk. I will definately stay again. Only one thing is not good, they charge separately for the internet, $10 per day. As a business hotel, internet should be free.

Four Points by Sheraton Montevideo Hotel
I only stayed there one night with my fiance, but when we booked in we were given an upgrade from a normal room to a suite. The suite was awesome! It had a spa bath and a separate shower. The hotel also had an indoor heated pool which was lovely. The buffet breakfast was good. All in all my stay there was excellent and I would stay there again!

I have stayed in the 4 Points, 5 times, large comfortable rooms, excellent staff, the restaurant is over priced and not that great, but plenty of decent food within walking distance, I love how it is located in the old city within walking distance of many great places, yes there are other hotels in the area that cost less, but you get less for the money, I will be staying here every time I go to Montevideo.

The Four Points by Sheraton is situated in a wonderful location, on a quiet street only one block from Montevideo's main thoroughfares. Nearby are plenty of shops and restaurants, and the heart of the city is only a stroll away. The front desk staff is welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast features a wide variety of items that are beautifully displayed. The upstairs enclosed pool offers an outstanding view of the city. In summary I give perfect marks to the hotel, primarily for the quality of its location and staff.

Very happy with our 3 night stay. Good room, good breakfast, central location near all downtown sights and information center. Convenient bus service to other areas. Lot's of restaurant options nearby including Mercado de Abundancia directly behind the hotel.

Considering Charging My Credit Card Back
I have never been so disappointed in my life. The breakfast that was paid for was horrible as well as the internet. When dinning in the restaurant I literally had to chase servers to get what was needed. The part that angered me the most was, I woke up at 6am sweating like crazy thinking the air condition was on it was NOT. When I called down they informed me that its winter and they have it shut off for the season this is South America! That is ridiculous! Then I was told I could have a fan "it was just as effective" I did not pay to stay there to have a fan. They sent up later that day an excuse letter that the AC was old and not built very good and oh 2 bottles of free water lol lol Keep the water next time. Im still fuming about this. I am still debating what to do....
