We booked a room at this hotel last minute decision to visit someone staying at nearby hospital. We were given a room in the house next door to the Mansion, a small bedroom with bathroom, very nice. Room was quite warm upon arrival so we set air for 70 and left to visit friend in hospital. When we returned our room was 80 degrees so we call front desk and someone was at our door within minutes of hanging up. They agreed room was warm and moved us to a room in main Mansion. Room was beautiful not only bedroom but attached sitting room. They could not have been more helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. Would recommend this hotel and will be sure to stay here next time we visit Pittsburgh.
did not understand why there was not a clean glass everyday. i used a glass the first day and it stayed in my room for the remainder of my stay
used the ice bucket the first day. then it was never cleaned. the liner never replaced.
my earplugs from my cell phone were missing.
parking was an issue during week days and night. a piece of paper to show the attendant, if it was attended?
The hotel was very accessible from the highway. The staff was very polite. The shuttle bus really helped with visiting different areas of Pittsburgh. My only complaint was that there was only a sheet and a very heavy duvet on the bed, with nothing in between. I was unable to find a nice middle ground. The breakfasts were on the same level as other hotels in this range.
We only stayed overnight, but enjoyed the Hotel and enjoyed the tour of the Mansion from our greeter. Staff were very friendly and we look forward to staying there again, when we can extend our stay. It was a convenient location if you are attending a ballgame downtown.
