We have been staying here regularly for around some ten years. The hotel is very relaxing, comfortable beds, friendly staff. Have noticed though that over the past two or three visits that the hotel is maybe 'resting on it's laurels' a bit. The boys out the front of the hotel are superb though and also very helpful; we needed a taxi that could accommodate the mobility buggy that I hired and they were able to fix this up with no problems.

"Great location for Universal Studios and City walk"
Hotel is very comfortable and well located. The pool area was good and the range of restaurants and cafes were of a high standard, if a little expensive.
Great to be able to walk to the Universal complex of theme parks and City Walk restaurants in a few minutes and the early and fast track complimentary entry to the parks and rides was welcome although not truly fast track as waits were still long. The popular rides were not included on the fast track which made the gesture a bit pointless but early admission made up for this.
Car parking expensive at 27 dollars a day; in reality this amounted to the equivalent of £180 for a 10 day stay. I wouldn't expect to pay that in central London, so this was a bit of a downer.

A couple things…
We stayed here because we could park here and then go to Universal Studios. Turns out that parking wasn't included in our price that I was given.
When I got up to the room, the pull out couch that I was told was standard in our room wasn't there. But, they sent up a twin size rollaway shortly.
At approximately 2:30am what sounded like 15 people but was probably more like 7 or 8, loudly came down the hall. They were yelling and cheering - quite loudly. A group of them were staying right next door to us. They kept yelling for almost an hour… The next morning when I complained at the desk when checking out, the employee at the desk told me I should have called the front desk...
First room assigned to us had a bad AC so we had to move our stuffs to the other room, so uncomfortable for both me & my hubby to pack again our things. 😞 I wish they have to double check the AC of each room before the occupants will check in. The other room I reserved for our friends had no microwave inside their room they had to use one downstairs in the dining room. It was my first time to book with Hampton and it was a little bit discouraging.
