Chargepoint for the car at a really good rate. Staff were very friendly and service was amazing. Food in the restaurant was awesome, as expected for Germany.

Very nice experience. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms en good location. Possibility to charge electric car in front of the hotel (Wirelane network). In summer season free use of public transport in Bodensee region. We definitely reccomend this hotel.

Their staff was professional, attentive and very knowledgeable and helped us several times going beyond their duties. The property is a quaint European design located from the hustle and bustle of the lake region yet close enough to enjoy. The food was AMAZING!

Great place! just was so hot and stuffy inside the room. Wifi in the room was so bad considering we were in the 2nd floor only. Other than that food and service was exceptional.

Great hotel.
Nice hotel with elevator to rooms. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good. Beds were comfortable. Parking was easy and free. Internet worked well.

Extremely friendly and accomodating
stayed for 5 days while here to attend the eurobike fair in friedrichshafen. beautiful scenery. near to meersburg for history. many vineyards and apple groves nearby, and of course the unforgettable bodensee. highly recommended

Too small and too hot
We were given a very small room that was setup for one person! We had to ask for the second set of pillows and covers to be brought to the room. The hotel has only one a/c room - the one we were in was not the a/c room and it was quite hot in the room as it faced the west. The room was under the roof and you could not get in or out of the bed without hitting your head - even a short person at 5'3" hit hard when standing up. We asked for a fan and it was provided. There should have been a fan in the room in which the temperature was in the low 90s. The bathroom was extremely small. I think I ran into myself a couple of times while trying to use the bathroom (LOL. The food in the restaurant was very good even though it took about 1 hour to order and be served the food. We do understand that the hotel was full but I think we paid full price and we should have had a better room. We would not return to this hotel.

Great hotel.
Front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good. Shower and bathroom are a little small. Stayed two nights and had a great experience. Value for money is exceptional. Restaurant is fantastic.

Nice friendly hotel and staff. Restaurant good, good choice of food, very large portions. Breakfast OK too as far continental breakfasts go. A bit confusing getting about until you got used to the road system. Some lovely little places to visit very close by.

Comfy but basic
This is a simple German "landgasthof" that caters to bicyclists and buses. The restaurant is pleasant and good, the breakfast excellent, and the rooms comfy, but basic. Wifi is free & fine. The lake is about 1 mile away. A good choice for a night or two but I would not want to spend a rainy day in the basic room.

I thought we had free internet, but upon checking in was advised that we would get a pass code for only 3 hours of free internet. After trying to log in, the internet was not even working. The hotel itself was really nice, had small rooms, good breakfast, and overall good value for the price. It has a restaurant, but was not open the night we checked in. Not very many restaurants close by, and required a bit of walking/driving. No A/C, but when we stayed it was great outside and not needed.

Good price for short stay
This hotel provides parking, breakfast, and Internet for free. Parking is easy and breakfast is alright. No complaints about these. The Internet is only free for 3 hours and the signal is weak. I had to sit by the door to get signal but it was extremely slow. Other than that, shower space is really tiny which is another downside. But the rest of the hotel is quite good. Staff is friendly and room is spacious. The location is not too far away from the lake but still need to drive for 10-15 mins.

Nice hotel and reasonable price with a great breakfast. Only downside was the WIFI. When I booked on Expedia it said free WIFI, when I checked in I was told the free WIFI was only for three hours and any additional time I had to pay for. Then, the WIFI did not work very well at all, either in my room or in the lobby. If they can offer really free WIFI and WIFI that works they will be an excellent place to stay.

A fine experience for someone touring with a car
The Bodensee-Hotel Kreuz is a fine place to stay, and a great combination of service and price. The hotel is a few km north of the Bodensee, but is just far enough away from all the bustle to provide a quiet respite from the crowds in a comfortable setting. The staff is nice and the hotel is clean. The attached restaurant has good food and both hotel and restaurant are a good value.

Excellent hotel and great restarant
I really liked this hotel. The rooms were great and the restaurant was really good, including a good buffet breakfast. The hotel reception could not be more helpful and nice, speaking perfect English. This area proved to be a good base for exploring the Lake Constance area, if you don't want to drive, there is a nearby bus which takes you to beautiful 'heritage' Meersburg with its castle and residence. From there you can either catch the tourist ferry as it goes around the lake or, a little cheaper, walk along to the car ferry (with the bus at the other side) to get to Konstanz. Konstanz was lovely too and we walked just into Switzerland whilst there, just to say we had been. Also, in a town nearby to the hotel is a stunning reconstructed iron age village on stilts over the lake in Unteruhldingen, so plenty to do and a great hotel to make as a base to do it from.

Value for money
Nice and tidy hotel, good pricing compared to other locations around Lake Constanz (It is located about 3km far from the lake's shores though). The bathroom is really tiny, but clean. Very good breakfast included in the basic tariff. Free wi-fi and parking. Would recommend.

This is a lovely hotel, staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The terrace area was very relaxing to sit. Not far from Lake Constance which in itself was beautiful, plenty to see and places to eat.

The hotel was wonderful and the joining restaurant was excellent. We picked this location so we could visit the gardens at Mainau. Of all the gardens I have visited all over the world this was by far the best.

Okay for a night
We arrived late at the hotel, around 10:30 PM, after calling ahead to let them know we would be late. We parked in the lot, and entered through the bar I think, it was difficult to know where the entrance to the hotel was, at this time of night. A very pleasant woman was waiting for us at the reception desk, and seeing how tired we were, forewent most of the check in formalities until the morning, so that we could get to our room quickly. The elevator worked fine and we went up to our room, which was very clean and roomy. The bathroom was okay, and very clean. Everything was fine, but nondescript, okay for a night or two. We just didn't feel excited. The breakfast buffet was very nice and we sat on the terrace as it was a sunny day. This was very pleasant. During breakfast I spent quite a few minutes trying to connect my tablet to the internet without success. Smart phone connected though. Afterwards at checkout we were told that many people have the same problem, for some reason tablets don't connect to the internet. It was a major inconvenience which I hope will be corrected. The computer next to the reception was not working either. The woman at the reception did her best to try and help us on her computer. All in all it is a decent place to stay and the staff is very helpful and pleasant.

Nice hotel, but not the best location
The hotel itself was very nice, clean, and at a reasonable price. The restaurant was very nice with a great outdoor area. Lake Constance was a short drive away, but too far to walk to and the immediate area didn't present much of interest.

Good hotel, close to Lake Constanz
Nice hotel, good breakfast, comfortable room. Very clean. They were making further improvements with a new sun terrace which was not finished while we were there. Would go again. The only downside was the coach party of women who were noisy leaving in the morning while we were trying to sleep. Nice place to stay. Parking around Lake Constanz quite expensive though.

near the Bodensee
We enjoyed our stay...nice rooms with little private balconies, great breakfast included, bikes available, nice bar that stayed open for our nightcap beer. If we could have found a place closer to the lake, we never would have stayed here, but we would go back.

Der Checkin war freundlich. Der Reinigung der Duschkabine sollte mehrAufmerksamkeit gewidmet werden. Der Balkon war nicht gereinigt, Die Zigarettenkippen vom vorherigen Gast waren noch im Aschenbecher, den Tisch haben wir selbst abgeputzt. Abendessen im Restaurant war dürftig, die Hintergrundmusik nicht passend und die Bedienung hatte mehr Interesse am Handy als an den Gästen. Allerdings das Frühstück war sehr gut

llegamos y fuimos muy mal recibidos, incluida la información de que no había habitaciones disponibles. Estuvimos mucho rato en recepción hasta que apareció una señora para intentar solucionarlo. Nos consiguieron una habitación sucia con una mala instalación. horrible.
