Airport pick-up was perfection -- no hassles, everything completely professional. The place itself is beautiful, although the large pool in the front is not to my taste, but others in my group thought it was fantastic. Decor is beautiful, staff COULD NOT BE NICER and more helpful. The only thing is that I would have liked more accessible electrical outlets (isn't this the case with almost every hotel these days?) and it was a bit chilly when we were there, so walking between the rooms and the restaurants, spa, gym, etc. was chilly! But really, it was absolutely wonderful, and the staff could not have been more helpful and polite.

"Queen for a day or two! I was treated like royalty"
India is a country of contrasts. Abject poverty and wealth beyond your imagination. As a tourist I needed an oasis in the midst of swirling humanity. The Oberoi gave me solace to think, indulge myself, work on projects and to have my needs administered to by a gracious, well-trained hotel staff.
If I had my fondest wishes to come true, they would be to travel to every Oberoi Hotel in India. Enjoy the cultural exchange, the history of the people, view first hand a 5,000 year old society coming to grips with modernity, and in the evenings I would bask in the 24 hour spa, exercise facilities, DVD's on demand and butlers to make my stay more comfortable.
Treat yourself! There is no way you could be disappointed with the Oberoi client services. The rooms are impeccable. Surprisingly things are tourist-friendly. Come on! You only live once.
Stayed for five nights. Extremely polite, smiling and helpful young staff, sans exception - from telephone operator to housekeeping to reception to restaurant.
Simple restaurant with well made food.
Not exactly the cleanest of location outside, but inside, everything is spic n span.
Excellent value for money.
Couldn't have asked for more at the price, very pleased.
As a small nit, too much lemony stuff in the bathroom, perhaps some other citrus variants like Orange could add some zest and variety!

The hotel in itself (services, staff, food, cleanliness, etc.) is perfect. The pricing was super awesome. To some extent, the only challenge was its location - no market/shopping centre around... the most basic market is perhaps 1-2 kms away, though auto rickshaw are conveniently available. Would defi stay again
