The hotel appeared to be somewhat recently renovated, but was still dirty. There was a smell that seemed like mildew or water intrusion and the circulation was so bad in the hallway that standup fans were brought in to try to move air - perhaps to dry out the water intrusion.
The lobby was completely closed - presumably for renovations, but there was no evidence they were still active.
My career history involves managing hotel Renovations and this one was poorly handled at best.
The toilet was clogged easily and when my husband called down to ask for help, the staff at the desk was rude and acted annoyed we had asked for help.
When I tried to call back down for additional towels, no one would answer at all after several attempts. When we departed, no one was at the front desk.
Overall, the hotel may be renovated but the upkeep is severely lacking and there appear to be no efforts to make the stay comfortable for guests, nor are there explanations to guests that the lobby and breakfast areas are closed.
I have been a longtime guest of Marriott properties and have worked on them and this is certainly not up to brand standard.
