Business in Turku
Nice hotel and staff, but half of my pillows disappeared halfway through my stay and my towels went from bath sheets to hand towels. I did not appreciate that aspect. Breakfast was good though, and staff was nice. The option to visit the bar was handy too, although plenty of lovely restaurants in walking distance too.

Short one night visit in summer holiday trip. Really nice peaceful hotel and 10+ breakfast! Also good position near of the river. Could visit again!

Good service for moderate price
Perhaps not modern enough for the most sophisticated connoisseurs, but simple clients such as I am it was a great hotel: good night rest, quiet and peaceful. The location of the hotel was also pretty good: within walking distance to tourist district in Turku (3 km from the castle; and 2 km from the cathedral). Hotel restaurant offered good food.

Dirty, musty and in need of maintenance
I don't think the room had been dusted in a few months. Also the shower was clogged and room smelled musty. The service was friendly though.

Convenient to find after arriving on the ferry. A short walk into the livelier part of the town, for bars and restaurants. All in all, it was value for money but unremarkable!

Nice basic hotel with comfy bed
I had a good stay at the hotel. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable with a choice of different pillows. Only negative point was the size of the room, it was small. I hardly had enough floor space to open my big suitcase.

Typically well appointed Holiday Inn hotel. Restaurant menu somewhat limited and service slow. Would recomend short walk into town centre.

Nice hotel, good location
I was very pleased with my stay at this reliable and familiar chain hotel. The room was very clean and the staff friendly and efficient. The location was not far from the waterfront and it was nice to walk along pathways and stop for refreshments at the many pubs and eateries along the way.

Good for transit stop
Typical Holiday Inn with small basic but comfortable rooms. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk away from the train station and the cathedral. It has a small swimming pool and sauna (bit too small actually...). Friendly staff. View from the room was other rooms. The bathroom wasn't hugely clean. I would stay there again for 1 night but would consider elsewhere for a longer stay.

Great hotel in a great location
Always love staying at the holiday inn in Helsinki. Great location near the train station, bus station and a short walk to the waterfront and lots of shops.

Hotel review for business stay
The hotel was suitable for my requirements although I didn't eat or have any breakfast at the hotel restaurant. The room was a suitable size and had a good shower. However, on the downside, there was no wi-fi - everything had to be done from a cable in the room which I couldn't get to work and the swimming pool was closed for refurbishment during my stay.

Good location
The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from the train station. It was easy to locate and is a few blocks away from the center of town. The rooms are adequate and updated although I felt like the tiles in the shower could have used a really good scrubbing with some mold and mildew cleaner. Be sure to ask for a street-facing room as the interior rooms face the interior. If you are a Priority Club member, WiFi is free. For those who aren't, you must buy a voucher that gets you 12 hours of access for 1.50 Euro.

A short but pleasant stay
Arriving in the early hours of the morning for just a few hours sleep before leaving again doesn't give much chance for a review, however what I can say is that the room was clean and comfortable and the receptionist was very nice and helpful.

Impressive hotel
Overall, the quality of this hotel was very high, including the choice of different firmness of the pillows, which I thought was a good idea. The only negative was the wired nature of the internet, which I found irritating as I only had my mobile phone with me, so therefore this was useless. Other than that though, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

fantastic hotel
Fantastic hotel with great facilities. Perfect location for accessing everything in Turku, walking distance from the town centre, the bus and railway stations. Staff very friendly and chatty apart from one male member of staff in the restaurant whom i found rather abrupt, it deffinately didnt sour my experience though.

Comfortable hotel with very helpful staff
Nice and comfortable, quiet rooms with the benefit of a fast internet connection via ethernet cable if you didn't want to use the wifi service. Nice breakfast too, only the evening meal was a little disappointing and rather expensive like many things in Finland. Staff though were excellent and very helpful when I realised yesterday that I had left a jacket hanging in my room. Sure enough i called and they have it and will send it to me (hopefully not at huge expense)

OK, but sparse and unwelcoming set-up.
Hotel feels abandoned. All restaurants were closed on a Sunday evening - even the bar. Uninteresting and unwelcoming place, but good room. Super helpful front desk receptionist who seemed to be in charge and responsible for everything. Internet way too slow and had great trouble connecting. Was given complimentary WI-FI which helped. Thank you for that. Handicapped room is truly designed for someone with mobility issues! Thank you.

Not terrible, just not as clean or well kept as many similar priced places in Europe. The sauna was nice enough but scary - like going into a bank vault. They were behind 4 locked doors and both my wife and I had trouble getting OUT! Bicycles were available for a small fee and very close to the Turku waterfront which is very nice.
