“a good choice”
Perfect location on a wonderful beach. Very friendly staff. Everything was as expected and more! The only thing is, that the bike which are offered by the hotel are only to use for 2 hours, so you cannot make longer tours.
“Best value”
Third time there and love it. One of the best parts of the beach. Great value for the money. Room had a small ant issue but we cleared it up.

“Comfortable and Spacious”
The one bedroom suites with the full sized kitchen, are great value for money; with the resort right on the beach and in a good location for easy access to all that the Grace Bay area has to offer. It was lovely to be able to sit and enjoy morning coffees on the private balcony with pleasant views over the lush botanical grounds and a peek-a-boo view of the ocean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has great food, also at a reasonable price (for Providenciales standards as prices on the island are very high!) and includes entrees based on traditional dishes. All in all, a very comfortable and relaxing stay, meeting all of our expectations for a Caribbean beach vacation.
“This condo/hotel was awesome! I can't wait to go back. Well maintained with very friendly service.”
We got a great deal on this room. I could not believe how nice it was! The beach is awesome, the pool is nice and there is a bar and restaurant on the property. I would definitely recommend it even to very picky people.
“15 years and still returning”
I have vacationed at The Royal West Indies numerous times over the past 15 years. During that time the building code on the island changed which allowed construction of multi-storied condos and hotels. As a result The Royal West Indies now feels like a boutique hotel. It is three storied with lush plantings of many different species into which are tucked two delightful pools. The grounds are maintained on a daily basis. There is a quiet, understated elegance that many of the more luxurious and expensive hotels have tried to create with glitz and props. The staff is great! Many employees have worked there for years and greet you like family when you return. Make sure you meet Sherman - he is a delight! The ladies who work in the Lobby are gracious and attentive. The women who book excursions are attentive and will guide you to make the right choices. What I like about The Royal West Indies is that many of the people you encounter actually own their units and take great pride in their investment. On the beach, it is a casual relaxed atmosphere where everyone shares their tips on where to eat and what tours to take. Unlike some fancy hotels where no one gets into the water, everyone delights in the water and spend hours in it. One can go sailing, kayaking, snorkeling, noodleing for free. Everytime I return, I feel that I am home. Provo is a quiet island with not much nightlife. The focus is on the beach and nature. Provo - Beautiful By Nature!
“A real value in Grace Bay”
Just returned from our second stay at the Royal West Indies Resort. RWI is a beautiful, low key resort at the eastern end of Grace Bay. During our first stay in July 2010 we stayed in an oceanfront one bedroom condo - magnificent view! This time we stayed in a one bedroom condo with a botanical view - the grounds of the resort are beautiful. RWI is a quiet, beautiful resort with two pools, hot tub, on site restaurant, and an amazing stretch of beach on Grace Bay. Close enough to walk to a nearby bakery, grocery store and other restaurants. We think RWI is a a tremendous value at one of the most beautiful places on Earth!
“Very nice hotel and the landscape is beautiful”
The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and you are on the beach! The rooms could use a little more "TLC" though. We stayed in two different rooms during our trip and both rooms had little issues. Towels and blankets both had dark spots and stains...in both rooms. Also, we had ants in both rooms and they were everywhere. Overall, the hotel is beautiful.
“Good Hotel but Room for Improvement”
The rooms were (kept) clean and comfortable. The only reason I wouldn't recommend is beacuse the hotel needed more amenties. For example, there was only one restaurant, no store to buy souveniers or forgotten incidentals and only one computer with internet access. But the hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. So if you're looking for something basic then this is the hotel for you.
“We liked it.”
A very nice hotel. The beach was great, and the rooms were nice. It would be nice if they had more bicycles available. There is a grocery store about a half mile away and a bakery a block away.
