“2 Star Hotel”
Easy to locate the hotel and easy to access the rest of the city, train station, metro access, subway access, buses all are in walking distance 150/200 meter, bus going to torino airport also walking distance 220/250m
“Could be better”
Well, Taverna Dantesca is located in a very handy spot, but also pretty loud at night. If you don't speak Italian don't go there - you will not be able to turn on the air conditioning.
“Price is good but don't expect alot other than a clean room and decent continental breakfast.”
The price for the room was good considering it was on the edge of the historic district though they charged slightly more than the advertised price. The room was exactly as pictured but the whole hotel coud use an overhaul. The proximity to the central train station and museums are great but it's on the border of a sketchy neighborhood so you don't want to go in the wrong direction but there was a great resturant a half a block away. WiFi didn't work even with their password. The free continental breakfast was good and the staff was very nice and we did manage to communicate despite the language difference.
“Good Hotel for One Night”
Great Location near train station. Simple room, not memorable but fine. They only had a Triple room available, which was nice because it gave us a larger room with more space. We used the extra twin bed to spread out our stuff. Small but functional bathroom. Quiet enough. Cheap enough and fine enough for 1 night in Torino, which is a great city!
“Hotel Taverna Dantesca”
Camera e bagno fatiscenti.

Porta Nuova Station, Turin, Italy: Turin's main train station is the Porta Nuova Station, built in the 1860s. Designed by Alessandro Mazzucchetti it was modelled on Kings Cross in London and consisted of an arrivals hall and a departures hall separated by a hall with a semicircular roof. The early 20th century saw many changes to the station and the interior has since been completely restructured, although the façade remains.
