“Great Stay, Confortable and Exceptional Cordiality”

“hotel di ottima qualita”

pulito con personale gentile e comodo per prendere mezzi per andare in centro, vale le stelle che porta, camera un po piccola ma non è un grande problema.

“Geeignet für Kurztrips, gutes Frühstück aber schlechtes WiFi”

Das Hotel liegt nicht im Stadtkern aber dafür direkt an einer Tram Station. In Fußwegreichweite befindet sich allerdings eine Metrostation, die sich als wesentlich hilfreicher erwiesen hat. Das Lancaster liegt in einem Block von Wohnhäusern, also sollte man keine großartige Aussicht erwarten. Schmuddelig oder verwarlost ist die Umgebung aber bei Weitem nicht. Positiv: - Frühstücksbuffet - Freundlicher Service rund um die Uhr Negative: - die Klimaanlage im Zimmer funktionierte nicht - die Lüftung in der Dusche funktionierte nicht - die WLAN Verbindung war schlecht Fairerweise muss man aber sagen, dass ich das Hotel für eine berufliche Reise genutzt habe, und deshalb tagsüber nicht im Hotel bzw. nicht auf die negativen Punkte angewiesen war. Die Punkte sind daher nur vorbehaltlich aufgeführt, evtl. hätte der Service etwas daran machen können; so wichtig war es mir dann aber nicht. Vermutlich war die Klimaanlage aufgrund des noch kühlen Aprils abgeschaltet. Will sagen, die Zimmer sind solide, laden aber nicht besonders zum stundenlangen Verweilen mit Komfort ein. aber wer ein 3-Sterne Hotel in der Preislage sucht, erwartet vermutlich sowieso keinen Cluburlaub. Wer Turin beruflich besucht, oder nur ein paar Tage Sight-Seeing machen will, dem kann ich das Lancaster durchaus empfehlen. Wer etwas bessere Zimmer möchte, sollte sich das Executive ansehen, aber das Frühstück dort ist wesentlich schlechter. Dort wohnten meine Kollegen.

Getting there
Es gibt einen Reisebusservice vom Flughafen zum Porto Nuevo. Von dort die Metro nehmen.
