“Great luxurious hotel”
Conveniently located. Luxurious. Had everything really. Nice and quiet and at the same time having a great bar to socialize if yo feel like it.
“great”
that was great
“Would return”
Airline lost my luggage. The staff took care of this quiet efficiently. Very helpful on a number of issues in connecting with friends who arrived late & getting around. Comfortable, attractive hotel. Historical sights & shopping an easy walk.
“Extremy modern and convenient”
Very lovely, modern and extremely convenient to church where Shroud of Turin was on display
“Good but not perfect”
This may be (as some guides say) the best hotel in Torino, and we would go back, but there is room for improvement. On the plus side, the hotel was pretty spotless, and the (included) breakfast was a very good buffet which did not go over the top. Free internet access in the rooms was also a very welcome and rather unusual benefit. On the minus side, our room was a little small and overheated (the air-conditioning did not work properly). There was virtually no hanging space for clothes in the wardrobe. Further, the hotel is a bit of a rabbit-warren - if, like us, you were in the annexe, you had to use two lifts to get to your room, with a long walk in between. Service was less than perfect also - there was only one set of towels in a room booked for two people (though this was promptly rectified), and there never seemed to be enough people at reception (and those that were often seemed to be on the phone for ages rather than attending to guests). The hotel also has some of the blandness and lack of personality typical of one used (I would imagine) mainly by business people, with the usual accompaniments such as glossy boutiques and overpriced minibars.
“Excellent Hotel but ...”
Excellent hotel but avoid being there when Inter FC or AC Milan are residing there before a football match with Juventus FC or AC Torino, unless you are a fan of one of those clubs.
“Not impressed”
If you do not mind dragging your suitcases yourself all the way from the taxi, up the steps through the front door and then more steps and crossing the lobby to finally reach the reception and make your check in... this hotel is for you. I haven't seen a porter in the four days of my staying, not even once. The hotel looks brand new and well mantained but the service is 3 stars not 5.
“Fresh Hotel”
Neat, Smart, Fresh Hotel with very good service. good restaurants at the hotel. The Spa is ok.
“Golden palace hotel Torino - ottima posizione”
Personale di sala rapido e attento oltreché cortese. Nel complesso più che bene!
