“Nice hotel, but the area is a little shady.”
The hotel itself is well maintained, the staff is nice and the price apparently includes breakfast which was a nice surprise. The neighborhood however, was quite shady. They also offer free wifi in the hotel lobby, which is rare in Europe. The only real complaint about the hotel is that the shower was in a tiny stall. But that's it. There is also this one pretty good restaurant called Alba nearby that is apparently frequented by a lot of celebrities including Adrien Brody.
“Iffy neighborhood”
weather was very warm, but hotel had shut off AC due to time of the year. Opened balcony door, but street is dusty and noisy. Awaken at 4:00 a.m. by people yelling on street, then 5:00 from garbage truck making its round. \maybe okay for winter and middle of summer only when you can leave the windows or patio doors shut. The room has a stale smell! Nevertheless, staff are just as friendly as my last visit.
“Mediocre”
Ok, so it's a three star hotel and it wasn't so expensive, but they could try harder. The air conditioning didn't work, neither did the internet port in the room. Three stars doesn't mean you can get away with leaving stuff broken. The staff were mostly friendly though. The location was... well, areas directly around mainline stations are never the best.
“I will use this hotel again”
First of all I'll have to say how friendly and helpful all the staff were during our stay at the hotel. The surrounding neighbourhood while not being the best, I never felt uneasy, say like I would in some UK or US cities. The breakfast buffet was very good and the coffee excellent. The rooms are comfortable and my only complaints would be the lighting in the rooms could be better and sometimes there was a funny smell in the bathroom. Other than that I was very happy with the hotel and would use again without hesitation.
“Great”
Great hotel, excelent service. Good location, I would definitly recomend it.
“Convenient: Only a Three blocks from the train station”
Being so close to the train station, the neighborhood isn't going to be the best. the hotel is like a jewel in the midst of a rundown neighborhood. The is a military presence that keeps it perfectly safe, though.
“Niente male”
Camera piccola.
A Torino invece sì.

Porta Nuova Station, Turin, Italy: Turin's main train station is the Porta Nuova Station, built in the 1860s. Designed by Alessandro Mazzucchetti it was modelled on Kings Cross in London and consisted of an arrivals hall and a departures hall separated by a hall with a semicircular roof. The early 20th century saw many changes to the station and the interior has since been completely restructured, although the façade remains.
