“A Pleasant Surprise”

In decades of travel, we have found most Best Western hotels across Europe to be somewhere between entirely adequate to delightful surprises; the Luxor was at the upper end of our scale. It was clean, relatively modern and quiet. The staff was polite, helped with an excellent restaurant choice in the neighborhood, and otherwise stayed out of the way unless needed. Breakfast was, well, breakfast; plentiful, ordinary and well-balanced. As a party of three, we were given a room on the top floor which offered a large, outdoor balcony with table and chairs and a great view of the city. The bathroom was clean and modern. All in all, one of our better choices, and recommended.

“Perfectly fine for a short stay”

We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel location is very near to Porta Nuova station which is extremely handy for taking the coach to and from the airport. The hotel is slightly out of the central area (but only a 10 minute walk to the main squares) with a couple of restaurants nearby but not much else. The hotel is on a main road which has traffic noise throughout the night so rooms at the back of the hotel are quieter. The self service breakfast is very generous, comprising everything from scrambled eggs through to fruit and yoghurt and a coffee machine which gives a variety of hot drinks. Standard single rooms are an ok size with an en suite shower room and tea/coffee making facilities & a fridge/minibar. The TV has a variety of foreign language channels including a BBC world news channel for English speakers. Anyone who struggles with steps should be aware that there are several steps at the main entrance up to the reception area, then more steps up to the lifts and more again down to the breakfast room.

Ottima posizione, camera grande, ampio bagno. Colazione da sogno... Cortesia e gentilezza del personale.

“Hotel valido, a vostra disposizione”

Hotel vicino alla stazione ferroviaria, con tanti parcheggi nei dintorni. Ha sette piani e quindi dispone di molte stanze. La mia era semplice, non grandissima, ma ben riscaldata, con dei letti comodi e un bagno pulito dotato di box doccia. La struttura è tutta cablata per la connessione ad internet, mentre il wi-fi arriva solo fino al terzo piano e per usarlo bisogna specificare alla reception che si vuol usare quella tecnologia. Il personale sicuramente vi aiuterà: sono tutti molto cordiali e disponibili, un elemento importante per un servizio di qualità. La colazione è abbondante ed internazionale, ma la sala non è grandissima e così in certe fasce orarie bisogna attendere che si liberi un tavolo. Suggerisco di provare quest'hotel: ne rimarrete soddisfatti, sia per la struttura che per la posizione.

“Best Western Luxor - per visitare Torino”

Giudico ottimo il rapporto qualità - prezzo. La sera dell'arrivo ci è stata assegnata una camera decorosa, ma un po' angusta. Il mattino dopo, a semplice richiesta, siamo stati accompagnati, con estrema gentilezza, in una deliziosa e spaziosa camera all'ultimo piano con terrazza sulla città, che ancora il personale stava riassettando. La nostra vacanza è diventata, così, perfetta. La posizione dell'hotel, vicina alla Stazione Porta Nuova, consente di raggiungere con piacevoli passeggiate sotto i portici tutte le principali attrazioni turistiche della città. In hotel, evidentemente condotto con apprezzabile professionalità, pulizia degli ambienti e sollecitudine del personale alla reception, in sala colazioni e alle camere mettono il cliente a proprio agio.

“BestWestern Luxor Torino”

Comodissimo con la stazione treni di Torino Porta Nuova (3 min a piedi). Economico, non c'e' wifi ma rete via cavo (chi non ha un portatile resta tagliato fuori). L'idromassaggio era rotto. Cmq consiglio per chi vuol visitare Torino spendendo poco e stando in centro.

Es ist kein Luxushotel aber durchaus vernünftig.
