There was construction going on, the workers were working on a hotel next door and had the last row of parking blocked off. Of course my car had been in the last row and the staff failed to notify me. I was fortunate enough that car was not damaged. However I would appreciate to be notified that my car is in the middle of a construction site.

The door to our room wouldn't lock. When brought to management's attention we were immediately relocated.

The light-blocking curtains did not cover the window at all so there was only a sheer curtain in front of the window. At night this let the bright parking lot light shine into the room and once the sun came up the room was very bright. Very bad setup for sleep.

Disappointing for a Marriott
We take road trips frequently and are generally satisfied with the tier that includes Best Western Plus and Hampton Inn. Decided to try this Fairfield on a road trip through Tulsa. Lesson learned. For the price, we have had and expect much better. The bathroom floor was filthy, the carpets dirty, the windows had no screens, the AC/Heat unit blew a foul odor. The toilet handle was broken. Breakfast was served directly in front of the front desk, which is fine if you don't mind being stared at by front desk staff the entire time you eat. Ha ha. They ran out of coffee in the breakfast area- the only thing we actually wanted from the menu. We won't be back and will not risk this brand again either.

Good stay
Just a night, passing through. Manager checked us in and gave a treat to my dog. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Staff were all especially friendly. Breakfast was adequate.

We booked a suite and it was right next to (sharing a wall) with the equipment room that rumbled and made a horribly load noise about every 45 min. It was a room that nobody should ever have to stay in. We requested them to move us and they did the next day. Free breakfast was not very organized. Always out of coffee. When they opened they had no scrambled eggs. Would never stay there again.

Check in was super fast and easy. Breakfast was good and different each day. The room was mostly clean (bathroom floor didnt look super clean). Beds and linens were good! Appreciated the well-lit parking lock. It was cold while we were there so we couldn't enjoy the nice patio.

For a Marriott is was a little run down and not as nice as other Marriott hotels . Maybe it was just the Tulsa Oklahoma area, alot of business run down or closed up.

SO MANY THING wrong with this location! I had to move to a different room, as the lights did not work and the TV was busted. The second toom I was in had a MAJOR leak in the tub, water gushing out all night long. Also, there was dog food all over the floor, in the main room and bathroom, not cleaned at all. There were huge sticky spot in the carpet, I had to keep my shoes on at all times. The carpeting itself was black, which I suspect meant they didn't clean a lot. Avoid this location at all costs! Horrible terrible, one of the worst experiences I ever had.

A respite from a home with no AC
I was surprised how nice the place was. The cable service was temporarily out but not their fault due to the storm. The carpet was a little stained, but overall very clean and very nice!

Disappointing experience
While this hotel has easy access to the highway, and the front desk staff are nice, and the breakfast is decent, the rest is quite disappointing. The elevator and hallway carpeting is so dirty that I was able to see and smell the dirt and dust. I'm allergic to dust and was already sneezing by the time we got to the room, which was across the hallway from the elevator. The carpeting in the room was slightly cleaner. But I kept my shoes on until I went to bed. The bed was comfortable enough, thank goodness. The rest of the room was disappointing. The heating/cooling unit was unbearable noisy when on. The walls are thin, so we could hear a child screaming way past 10pm. The TV was pretty old. And the bathroom is another story. There appeared to be a hole or damage in the shower enclosure, which was "repaired" by a piece of wood nailed to the wall. But there were other small cracks on the enclosure. The tub drain was slow, so water puddled as one took a shower. The toilet was close to having stoppage problem. Management really should walk through each room and properly fix all damages to a room. The guest deserves better.
