Excellent staff courtesy and helpfulness. They called ahead with a question about our room request, and took care of our needs right away. Very friendly and kind.

Just ok

Posted 20-Oct-2014
The overall impression is good. It was old, ran down and the breakfast was ok. I would stay here again for 1 night but not much more.

Nice hotel

Posted 03-Sep-2014
Overall this was a good hotel. It is small and away from downtown, so it was quiet. The room was big, the mattress was comfortable. The walls were a little thin and the carpets weren't the cleanest. The first morning, breakfast was good-eggs, potatoes, ham. The other two days it was not as good. Just carbs. It would have been nice to have eggs every morning. Would definitely recommend to someone on a budget.

Don't Stay Here

Posted 04-Aug-2014
Pros: Close to Airport
Cons: Everything. It's obvious they don't care. One notch above a cockroach motel.
Location: Airport
It's hard to know where to start with how bad this hotel is. Management should be embarrassed, but obviously not enough to make changes. They staff with one person at check-in. Took me 30 minutes to check in. The hotel smells like mildew and mold. Carpet is old. The place is dirty everywhere. The room had paint peeling off the wall. The bathroom wall paint was peeling as well. The plumbing made a horrible noise when the shower was turned on. The water pressure was so bad, it took twice as long as normal to take a shower. There is mold above the shower tiles. The air conditioner in the room is too loud and does not cycle on and off to maintain a temperature. You just have to choose low or high and one or off. Turn it off and it gets too hot in the room, keep it on and you can't sleep because of the noise it makes. Bottom line, I will never stay in this hotel again. It's also the last time I will stay in a Country Inn and Suites. Carlson should be ashamed of this hotel.

Pros: Clean room and quiet location.
Cons: The shower in the room we stayed in was not very powerful and the hot water was luke warm.
Location: We did not explore the surroundings, we were there on personal family business.
Our two night stay was excellent, the room was cleaned and pleasant. Hotel staff was very respectful as well as helpful during our stay.

Just a quick overnight

Posted 22-Jul-2014
Pros: Close to the airport.
Cons: Need some sound proofing, I could hear others in there rooms. I just turned the fan on high to drown the noise.
Location: Very close to the airport and restaurants.
Nice hotel. Very close to the airport. Slept well and the staff were very nice. I don't if I would stay there for a week, but a couple of days. Absolutely.

I stay at Country Inn and Suites often. This hotel is tired and needs to be upgraded. I was not entirely pleased with the condition of the rooms. It really had the feel of an older hotel. I had to switch rooms upon arrival due to the lack of room cleanliness but the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The shuttle service to and from airport was a very nice convenience. A little paint and attention to room detail would be warranted at this property!

Good staff, poor facilties

Posted 23-Jun-2014 on Hotels.com
Hotel is located in an industrial area just off I244. On our evening arrival we found the mini-fridge not working. Reported it immediately. Following day breakfast was poor. No coffee (3 coffee urns empty), no milk for cereal at 7:30 AM. Wife found container of milk in breakfast area storage. Only one person on duty, running the desk and trying to keep the breakfast area stocked and replenished, which is very hard to do. Returning that afternoon mini-fridge still not working. Reported it immediately, desk clerk found a working one and replaced it within 10 minutes. Following morning breakfast, coffee was cold (Again all 3 urns), no knives for waffles, toast or bagels spread. On using the shower the shower head had been attached to the water pipe wrong and water sprayed back onto the wall, peeling paint and running down between the wall and the shower, emptying onto the floor at the bathtub edge and out into the bathroom. Corridor carpet had not been vacuumed in some time, dirty and debris scattered around. On returning the second afternoon we found the replacement fridge had frozen soda cans inside and cause one to explode all over the inside. Chad, the desk clerk was great and tried his best to keep things going, but as mentioned, one person on duty makes it hard to do everything that is needed to run the hotel efficiently.
