“lovely rustic southwestern setting”
the expedia package i recieved was fabulous. my disappointment lies with the hotel's hidden exhorbitant daily charges not included in the pre-payment package. these charges cover, among other non-incidentals, daily wifi and parking, all of which are advertised as 'complimentary' on the hotel website. the excessive bill at check out was a most unwelcomed surprise that offset a great deal from expedia.
“Outstanding by any measurement”
This was my second stay at Westward Look in six months. It's a great place and the service is the best. The resort staff is friendly, caring and very professional. I have found in the Westward Look, my favorite place to stay in Tucson.
“great atmosphere”
If you're trying to get away from the city, but still be close to things this is the perfect place. The rooms are spacious and amazing clean and comfy, and the hotel grounds are beautiful. Lots of hiking trails if you like the outdoors, multiple pools to relax in, and a great city view at night.. and you get all of this with no city noise. It is secluded in a nice neighborhood so you think you're in a resort out of the city.
“Wonderful time at Westward Look Tucson”
I arranged my own fitness camp at the Westward Look resort in Tucson. They have a great Fitness Center, 3 pools, small trails. In addition there are wonderful hikes within a 10-15 minute drive. One recommendation is to have a car - without a car I would have felt stuck and could not have done the hikes. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, some within 1/2 mile, so walkable. And the resort itself has several nice choices of restaurants. If you love tennis, that would be an added bonus. At least six tennis courts, maybe more. Lessons are available. I did have one spa treatment and really enjoyed it!
“Satisfied”
Room was large, comfortable, and nicely appointed. Mattress was extremely firm and uncomfortable. Rooms are set away from the main building, so a bit of a walk to the Restaurants on site. Staff was very courteous. Great room rate. Overall it was a nice stay.
“Nice place to relax and enjoy family”
This is the second year in a row we have stayed at the Westward Look for Thanksgiving. We used to live in Tucson and we like to come back and visit with friends and family. The room was spacious and clean. We had two full beds and a sofabed which was helpful when we had a daughter's friend stay the night. I used the spa facilities and was treated very well by the staff from making the appt to leaving feeling refreshed and relaxed. My children enjoyed a wonderful sunset trail ride on the day before we drive back to California. I was another wonderful day of great weather and making great memories with friends and family. The food at the Gold restaurant is very nice, we only ate there once as breakfast for 3 cost $50. The only complaints were the cable signal was iffy sometimes and we had to keep asking for more towels. We were given two towels each day for 4 people. We will defintely stay here again, and I think more family from the midwest will be joining us too!
“Nice for the price”
The layout of the hotel room was very spacious and comfortable. The bed and comforter were very comfortable as well. The two tv's in the room were kind of cool at first, but got a little annoying after awhile. The room wasn't as clean as it could be. There were little kids' hand prints all over the mirror. We had a first floor room, and the guests upstairs seemed like they were walking constantly. It was very loud. We didn't really take advantage of any of the amenities. The view was nice. Overall, I was okay with hotel. I think for the price, it was probably the best we can get for a room in Tucson.
“Can't wait to go back!”
My son is in the Air Force and based in Tucson...so this was a perfect location to stay while visiting him over the Thanksgiving holiday. The grounds were beautiful for hiking, the rooms were spacious and well decorated, the hotel staff was cordial, the pool areas and spa were quiet and relaxing, the food was great...we even went horse back riding thru the desert! I can't wait to go back!
“"VERY IMPRESSED"”
Westward Look Resort is a very nice place. The rooms were comfortable and Huge! The resort staff was very helpful and friendly! The room was very clean and smelled good. The bath towels were big, not like the last place we stayed, thier towels barely covered my son, let alone me! The pools and whirlpools were clean and my son had a blast at the main pool. Unfortunately we were not able to spend the extra money for the Spa, or the horseback riding , But we still had a very good time. This was one of the only Resorts in Tucson that had free WI-FI, which really blows me away that those other resorts charge for it, and free parking, again blows me away that the other resorts charge for it!! Any how this was a very nice family friendly resort! The landscaping was beautiful and you have the mountains , Beautiful sunset and stars! When we were in our room we could not hear anything from surrounding area, or other rooms. The room service and food was great! Its a little pricey for me, but for someone on my budget we had a nice Thanksgiving from Indiana to Tucson, and the flight was the most expense. I was very impressed with this resort and will definately try to go back. I would really like to try the Spa.. Great place!
“True Resort in Every Way”
Astonishing Resort surrounded by beautiful hiking path. Very much enjoyed the three pools and tons of tennis courts in the hotel.
