“Very bad”

I asked for a nonsmoking room which I did get. However, they did not tell me it was on a floor with smoking rooms. It smelled like a bar once I entered the floor. My nonsmoking room smelled like smoke. I checked out the next day after requesting a different floor which they would provide for an additional fee. Who has smoking rooms in a hotel these days? I will never use a Days Inn again. Some of the reviews I read prior to me booking had been positive.

“Needs remodeling”

Location is far from UofA and airport. The bed was literally harder than a rock, bathroom sink dirty, and room smelled. The staff was excellent, and lobby was very clean.

“Good hotel for the price”

We have stayed in this hotel several times while visiting family in Tucson, and it's a great stay for the price. It is conveniently located next to the freeway, many major restaurant chains, and gas stations. The employees have always been polite and helpful. But on this particular trip, we returned to our room late one hot night to discover that the air conditioning unit would not turn on. When we called the front desk to ask for assistance, the attendant said, "Your guess is as good as mine." Thankfully, after hitting the Reset button and turning the unit on & off several times, we were finally able to get it operating again on our own. Another reason we like this location is that the building and rooms are very wheelchair friendly (one member of our party is in a wheelchair). Unfortunately, the handicapped parking is minimal and is on a slight incline, making it difficult to get a wheelchair in and out of a vehicle. Overall, this is a good hotel for the price--which would explain why we keep coming back!

“non smoking room reeked of cigarette or cigar smoke”

I HATE cigarette smoke! It makes me stuffy and gives me a headache and robs me of sleep! Your hotel's building, facilities, and the staff were excellent. I will not go back, though, because of the non-smoking / smoking issue. My non-smoking room was next to smoking rooms. The hall AND my room reeked when I got there. There was a cigaratte burn in the bedspread. Why cant you have the whole wing be one or the other? A nearby competitor enforces no smoking anywhere at the hotel at any time ever. I will pay more and go there.

“Would stay again”

Nice hotel, close to all kinds of shopping & restraunts- very easy to get to from freeway. Staff was very nice

“Mattress was terrible.”

Hotel was clean overall. Interstate and rail noise all night. Wore earplugs. I had not slept on a mattress that lousy in a long time. It was obvious the mattress needed replacement.

“Enjoyed our 2-day stay”

We stayed at the Days In -Marana Feb. 7 & 8, 2011. Were very pleased with the room and the staff. No problem with traffic or train noise. Bed was very comfortable. Will likely stay there again ,possibly longer, in 2012.

“pay a little more if you want to enjoy your stay”

The hotel is very old, run down, shady neighborhood. Employees not very helpful. Breakfast was dry cereal, coffee and instand oatmeal packets. Thin walls, heard neighbors alarm before he did. Pay a little more. There are 4 other hotels next door, all looked nicer.

“good value for what it is.”

It was a fine experience. I got the room for a good price it was clean and the bed was fine. I felt like it was a good value. It is just a clean simple hotel it doesnt have all the bells and wistles but good value It was quiet and the location was right.
