The Hotel staff were excellent, courteous and helpful with all requests. The resort food was fresh and delicious at both the restaurant ( Lotus ) and Beach side ( Bellini ) locations.
The room had a great view out over the water to some islands in the distance where you could spend time just watching the long boats cruise past.
I thought the resort was good value for the money and genuinely look forward to going back next year, it was a great place to spend a week.

My husband and I were fortunate to have eight nights staying at Tubkaak. Right from the 'get go' our experience was fantastic with the whole resort. The food was fantastic, the staff were amazing and the setting was out of this world. It really felt like paradise, sitting down in the afternoon watching the sunset amongst the islands and sipping on your cocktails. It was the little things that also counted like the afternoon tea delivered to your room every day. We would definitely like to come back and stay again.

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel with our 5 year old.The pool is beautiful and large and there's a separate shallow one for kids. The views are beautiful and the tide is our most mornings and early eavenings which is great fun for crab hunting.
The breakfasts are good with a mix of Thai/Western/Chinese, and the food the hotel produces is very authentic and beautifully presented. One thing we noticed as did a few of the other guests is that they do have a tendancy to over cook the red meat so if you are like me and prefer to be able to chew through your steak, best avoid ordering one here!
As most hotels, there is a premium for drinks and food in the hotel, but the views are worth it. There are some local places right outside the hotel that a good and lower prices.
We loved the fact the hotel offered a turn down service. It's so nice to come back to a beautiful villa at the end of the day.
Staff so sweet. Special mention of Jane who normally works mornings and is so kind and helpful, and Book the pool guy who will reserve you the same beds daily without you even asking.
Massage availability on the beach and 'Nee' which you turn right on the beach and walk for 5 minutes towards the sunset bar is the better of the 2 I tried.
Would happily go back but as we have stayed on this beach twice in the past 3 years last time at the Sheraton (lovely and very large) think we'll try somewhere new.
There is no nightlife in the area sk you need to take a taxi if you want that

The Beach is nice.. Resort needs renovation.. Nothing nearby so all you have with you is the resort. Good for couples who want to chill, relax & spend time alone.. Resort should have more activities. Staff can barely understand English.. Long tail boats crowd near the swimming area making it uncomfortable to bathe in the sea.. View is good from the resort. We had taken a Jacuzzi Villa but it had no view at all - disappointing!!
A relaxing hotel set in one of the most beautiful back-drops in all of Thailand. With the Limestone Islands just a short boat ride away, the scenery really is breathtaking. Excellent rooms, very friendly staff, good food.
To the west of Krabi, Tubkaek Beach sits just north of Klong Muang and flows into the Kao Hang Nak Natural Forest on the interior. The beach itself looks out onto the Koh Hong archipelago, and a day trip of the area provides a closer look at the islands. Tubkaek Beach is known for its relaxing atmosphere and soft sand, offering a respite from the bustle of nearby Ao Nang.
