The Kyomothoe Elite on Zakynthos was one of the highlights of our family vacation to Greece. Nikos, who is the general manager, went above and beyond with helping us what to see and do as well as making us at home in our apartment. The apartments are very modern with all of the things a traveler needs to feel at home. Of course, the view of the ocean off the balcony was also incredible.

Small family run Hotel, easy walk to the main part of town. Right opposite the water park. Rooms are newly refurbished with good aircon and wifi. Lovely pool and sunbathing area, was fairly quiet when we visited in June. Really helpful staff. We will be returning.

We loved our stay at the Arkadia. Maria and Angelos were such wonderful hosts and we felt that it really mattered to them that we had the best experience. The rooms are large and comfortable by Greek standards. We had a kitchenette area which was great for making snacks and hot tea! Maria cooks freshly every day and there is a wide choice of menu including home made bread. The pool area is exemplary and when we were there it was lovely and quiet. However, if children were there during school hols it could be a different story and this hotel is so special it would make a wonderful adults only location, particularly as it is not in the main tourist area and there is little for children to do locally. There is a Greek taverna down the road overlooking the sea which also serves excellent Greek dishes but other than this there is little to walk to so hiring a car either direct from Angelo or locally is a good idea to get out and about. The views and peace and quiet on the balcony was so relaxing and the balcony furniture was better than we have had in some five star hotels. Definitely recommend.

My fiancé and I stayed in Zakynthos for 3 nights in a Superior Suite with a Hot Tub. We would have to say it was probably one of the most enjoyable hotel experiences ever. Upon arrival we were greeted with champagne. Our amazing room had complimentary miniature sweets and a bottle of champagne. Our room was very large, with a large modern bathroom, towels changed twice daily. The balcony was very large with a lounge area, small dining area and a Hot Tub we used day and night. We didn't even use the amazing pool downstairs as it was so relaxing tanning on our sun lounges on our balcony. The room has a DVD player and iPod dock, so you can enjoy the entire day in your suite. Room service was delicious, and the breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant is just amazing. We ate buffet for breakfast and dinner with so much variety to choose from. The dinner buffet changes nightly so you are always surprised with something delicious. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Location wise it is a short walk from town, but everything you need is at the hotel. We also went to see the Shipwreck and Blue Caves which was organised for us through reception which was so amazing - I'd recommend bringing snorkels. Overall just an amazing 4 days!!

What a great hotel. The family that run it are great, very friendly, always willing to help. Rooms are much as you would expect around europe at this price. Basic, but clean. Their food is excellent. We only booked B&B but we found ourselves eating at the Hotel quite alot. The beach is 2 mins away down a fairly steep path, but it has steps, it's not hard or dangerous. Views everyday, sunsets everynight. Thanks to Eleni, Marianna, Yannis, George & the rest of the staff/family.
