Typical of expedia, you don't actually have to stay to make a review.

Wish you would have listed the problems you encountered. We always doubt the authenticity of reviews where there are no specifics. One of the many problems hotels face with the expedia company.

Thank you. There are air conditioners in the queen and 2 bed rooms. We are keeping the price low on the economy singles by only providing fans. The same goes for flat screen TVs and microwaves.

Thank you. Our housekeepers work hard to keep the rooms clean and pleasant. We have travelers from all over the world and some will do anything to feel like they are still at home. (Why?) So food and personal sprays, etc, odors, are almost impossible to remove in the short time we have between check-out and the next check-in. As more people are able to travel we all need to be a bit more worldly.

When guests fail to arrive by the posted 10PM check-in time we have no way of contacting them and leave their receipt and room key in an envelope attached to the office door. Your credit card was declined and therefore we had no choice but to report you to expedia as a card fraud and a "no show". You had our information on your confirmation and could have easily called to let us know you would be very late and given another credit card. You did not receive "terrible service", you received the service you deserved.

Well, at least the lights worked"fine". Yes, we do give out the shampoo/conditioners at the desk. It is our small way of helping the environment. When these plastic bottles are placed in the rooms and not used they must still be thrown out for sanitary reasons. As most guests travel with their own it has not been mentioned as an inconvenience before. Sorry if this practice offended you but we will continue to do this until a better container, environmentally friendly, is found. (Also, 3 bars of soap are provided.)

The Tidal Bore at the end of the Bay of Fundy, World's Highest Tides, is only a muddy bay bottom for the 10 hours when the tide is out. Regrettably it takes something from the view, especially when the tide change is early AM and late PM.

Sorry for your dissatisfaction. The beds are all less than 2 years old so we don't understand the problem with them. We understand the room you reserved was not what you had imagined it would, bed size and location, be but we need to read the room descriptions before we book. Hopefully you will do better at your next stop.

For the price you paid you actually wanted a free breakfast? Try a chain motel and you will get one, for twice the price. The reason your room was listed as "economy" was that it did not include a coffee maker, but did have refrigerator, microwave, hair dryer. Can you fine those anywhere else at this price?
