The hotel represented good value and the rooms are smart, clean and modern. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom very clean and spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was good for the price that I paid, and also wifi was included. The only disadvantage is the location for me - it was a long way from the centre of the city. It's about a 45-60 minute walk to the centre of town, or 10-15 minutes in a taxi, but that can't be helped.

The hotel is very nice. We had a deluxe room (with balcony) that faced the main street. It was spacious and clean. The staff spoke fluent english and were always helpful to us. They arranged a very nice driver to take us on day trips outside of Bari. The location of the hotel is excellent. I would definetly return to this wonderful hotel.
While not situated in a sprawling city location, it is close enough to enjoy the town in a country side setting. Vineyards adorn the nearby country side! Impressed by the friendly staff, which you will find helpful and informative. They truly make you feel welcome and appreciated. The hotel offers excellent dining, cleanliness, and is very quiet and relaxing, and in a charming rustic setting. All of this as what I feel is a bargain price! The local population is also friendly and inviting! I would highly recommend to anyone! Enjoy your stay as I did, to experience the warm southern Italy! Fantastic!

Great staff! Handled all requests quickly and perfectly every time. Good, clean and comfortable hotel.
Within walking distance of everything; shopping, services, and copious dinning spots. 5 minute walk to old Bari.
Their rooftop restaurant is not to be missed. Fantastic view, nice wine (Well, duh. It is the Puglia region of Italy.) and good food. A great place to enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the night.
My only surprise was that the hotel A/C was turned off, but opening the window a bit solved that problem and brought in some fresh sea air.
Lovely hotel. Only problem is that it is not close to any restaurants or supermarkets. Reception was very helpful though and offered to order us in a pizza or call us a taxi to take us to a restaurant.
Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights while visiting the Bari area. It is right on the highway and there is a gas station next to the hotel. The staff spoke english and were very nice, and they were able to supply me with toothpaste and a toothbrush. Breakfast was great and child friendly. Our bed was big, the room was cleaned by a very nice maid. The ocean view is wonderful, but the ocean across is rocky and you will need to do your research if you are looking for sandy beaches.

We stayed at the Romanazzi for one night on our holiday before catching our flight home the next day.
The grounds are spectacular and not easily visible from the main street, which makes it all the more surprising as the immediate surroundings are modern ,busy and residential.
The room was comfortable clean and spacious. I particulary liked the swimming pool, tucked away in a relaxing corner with a few nice sunloungers , just what was required following a week long cycle trip.
We ate in the restuarant and had the 3 course traditional menu, there was a lighter version on offer as well for those looking after their weight.
A brilliant stay and definately wouldl recommend.
The hotel is a bit off the beaten track and the greeenery in carpark/outside areas is overgrown. Areas of the hotel are "tired" and nothing is evident to suggest a 4 star rating, save, perhaps, the reception staff, who were excellent.
There is a trainline close by creating a fair bit of noise.

We could not have been more pleased with our stay at Riva del Sole. The staff were courteous, helpful, and efficient. The room was to our liking and the grounds were well manitained. In particular, the ristorante attached to the hotel was quite good and reasonable. Order the brie and speck pizza... spectacular!
