“Drive through France”

Hotel in perfect location for drive to South Easter France and excellent for travelling with young family. Staff friendly and helpful although availability of the childresn menu before 7 would be an added bonus.

Excellent hotel for an overnight stop to and from Provence. Friendly, helpful staff, good sized, clean room for a family of four. Swimming pool, although a little cold, great for the children to burn off energy having spent a long time in the car together with a climbing frame and garden to run around in and play hide and seek. Evening meal good and there is even a kids menu. which is great value. Good breakfast too! A little difficult to find hotel but once located, although near small airport, very very quiet, so we all slept well! Would definitely book this hotel again! Excellent value!

“Easy, convenient and fairly good value”

If you're looking for a convenient, no-fuss stop-over hotel, then I can recommend this. It's about 15 minutes off the A26/E17, about 4 hours from Calais. True - it's not the easiest to find, halfway hidden behind some large DIY stores and other retailers, but it's a quiet location. Good points: Pool (refreshing) and little play area - great for the kids after a long day in the car. Breakfast is good (kids eat free) , family rooms are spacious , with double and 2 single beds. Free WiFi (quite fast as well) , Free xBox in the lobby and Internet computer. Staff are friendly Restaurant is not bad either - Kids menus pretty dire, but their Steak tartare & homemade burger are very good. In short - It's a Novotel, so don't expect quaint french architecture or atmosphere, but if you need a convenient stop-over for not too much money - I can recommend this.

“Good hotel if travelling with dogs”

We have stayed here 4 times with our 2 dogs now. The rooms are clean, modern and a decent size (double bed and sofa bed) and have a separate hallway, which is useful to stop pets escaping whenever the door is open and provides a bit more of a buffer to corridor noise. Dogs can be left in the room, or are welcome in the restaurant. The hotel is in a very quiet location, with its own grounds and there is open countryside around. The airport is tiny and seems to shut in the evening - you wouldn't know it was there. The hotel staff all speak English and are extremely helpful. There is also an English language channel (mainly news) on the Tv in the room. The restaurant is modern, with main courses at about €10-€15 euros and some cheaper set menus. I should imagine this hotel is also great if you're travelling with kids - the swimming pool is adjacent to the restaurant terrace and there are some toys in reception. Supermarket and good boulangerie/cafe close by (the latter is open Sunday mornings). Good, convenient overnight stop for weary travellers.

“Perfect Hotel, even for babies and dogs”

Used this hotel twice for trip to Alps and back. Took dog and 4 month old baby Hotel was perfect. Staff really friendly and helpful. Restaurant good with small bar. Loads of free parking. Slightly tricky to find but not too bad. Airport so small you wouldn't know it was there. Dog was allowed everywhere in hotel plenty of dog walking outside hotel. Everything we needed for baby was provided. Free WiFi in reception.Would definately recommend.

“Great family room, quiet location”

Great family room (one double + 2 single beds in large, spacious room); very clean; incredibly quiet considering it is an airport hotel and not far from a main dual-carriageway. Hotel grounds very pleasant - nice pool area and children's play area with climbing frame/slide. Large gardens and grassed area; plenty of room for the children to run around, play hide and seek iand burn off energy. Very good value for money.

“Hotel für einen Zwischenstopp”

Das Hotel haben wir für einen Zwischenstopp in den Urlaub bzw. aus dem Urlaub zurück genutzt. Für diesen Zweck ist es ganz gut geeignet, da es direkt an unserer Strecke lag. Das Frühstücksangebot haben wir aufgrund des hoteltypischen hohen Preises nicht in Anspruch genommen.
