“Satisfied but can improve”

I was satisfied with the room I was given but I could have rented a room at Motel 6 at a cheaper price and get the same room size with service. The only difference I saw was the weight room and restaurant.

“Okay”

The hotel location was excellent for my needs however the hotel is a little dated and not in the best of shape however the hotel staff of polite and professional.

“Breakfast was slow”

My one complaint is the included breakfast, which was served at the restaurant, sit-down style. The restaurant is understaffed for breakfast, and the staff is also dealing with room service requests. Basically, for breakfast you are the lowest priority for the people who are serving you.

“Comfortable for a reasonable price”

The room was comfortable and reasonably priced; we got upgraded to a king which has considerably more space. The dining room is very out of date.

Skip the hotel breakfast - it's sparse and not very good. Sterlings is close by and has a delicious breakfast menu.

“Great stay for the price”

The Shilo Inn offers a comfortable stay at a very affordable price. The staff was very willing to meet our needs. The room and facilities were slighting outdated but clean. The walking path along the river was perfect for walking our dog.

“Great place to stay!”

My 3 kids and I needed a place to stay for 1 night, en route to another destinattion. We checked in the evening and were greeted promptly by a friendly representative who explained everything thoroughly and was accomodating to my need of easy access with toting 3 kids around. The room was spacious, and comfortable. The sounds were muffled, so my neighbors did not disturb me, nor us them. I left in the morning, having a good night sleep and would return again, the same.

“Friendly staff”

We were impressed by the consistently friendly staff. Check-in was quick and efficient. Room was clean, albeit a little on the small side. The free breakfast is actually a buffet in the adjoining restaurant...so while not exactly gourmet, it's much, much better than most free breakfasts in this hotel's price range. Overall I'd call it a good value for the money. Not luxury, but not a dump either. (The pool looked nice, though we didn't have the chance to use it.)

“Close to the Festival”

Shilo Inn & Suites was a great bargain through Expedia. Great breakfast buffet, clean room, EXTREMELY comfortable bed. Staff was responsive, polite and cheerful. The only down side was that the hot tub in the weight room was not clean. Dust bunnies floating on the surface and large piles of sand in the bottom. The bathroom in the fitness area was a tad grungy, too. Other areas of the hotel were very clean.

No internet hook up in the rooms and no plug ins at the desk. I had to charge my laptop in the bathroom
