We were there on the off season, so the place was pretty quiet. We enjoyed our host greatly and the way we could explore the little town on foot. Also, so close to the water! Definitely would stay again.

We really enjoy the hotel it was an older hotel with a restaurant and bar. Walking distance from other restaurants and Storm Cloud Brewery.

The top choice for Frankfort: Was recommended by a local and did not disappoint. This is a “themed room” B&B style hotel with plenty of historical charm. The hotel manager was very friendly and had great recommendation for local dining.

Wonderful hotel with a historic-feeling interior and very attentive staff, within a block of everything we enjoy in Downtown Frankfort. Having a private jacuzzi tub and infrared sauna in the room put a high polish on our romantic weekend getaway. We were very pleased with our stay and look forward to returning.

The hotel is charming. Not much is happening in the village mid-week in January. Dining options are limited but there was no waiting! The bathroom in our room is tiny but adequate. We wished the restaurant or bar or breakfast was open when we were there.

Cool building inside and rooms. Very friendly staff. Hotel was clean throughout. Town was nice. Only downside, the bed was a little to firm but nothing the hot tub and sauna didn’t fix. I stayed in the world traveler room.

We loved this place. It was December when we went and hotel restaurant was not open during the week, however local places were walking distance. The room was very quaint, welcoming, and it’s the only place I’ve been to that had a large ho tub and a sauna in the room. We stayed in the world traveler room, and I cannot wait to go back again.

Beautiful, quaint, cozy. A wonderful welcome by the front desk all the way through the bartender and hostess. Good is fantastic. Location is close to everything yet still quiet. A wonderful place to experience a Michigan winter weekend. The room was clean, comfortable and I wish I could have stayed longer!!

Cozy hotel with charm
We had a wonderful time at this hotel. It has a cozy warm atmosphere. The staff was wonderful. The restaurant and bar were not open because we came off season but many within walking distance. The room was immaculately clean and the beds were amazing. It feels more like an apartment than a hotel room. We would definitely come back.

Better than any other stay in memory!
My husband and I have this joke that I'm not allowed to pick hotel rooms because the last several I've chosen have been experiences that we wouldn't choose to repeat. At best, we weren't horrified but weren't going back to that hotel... THIS trip redeemed my hotel-picking confidence. We booked the Blue Heron room and it was elegantly decorated, much larger than any hotel room that I've ever been in to the point that it felt like a suite, had a beautiful view over main street, and the blue velvet couches around the electric fireplace were a wonderful place to relax in the evening to share a drink with my husband AND to sit and sip my coffee in the morning as I woke up. The bathroom was spacious and had a tiled, walk-in shower that was almost as big as some whole hotel bathrooms I've been in and made me want that at our home. The staff was friendly when we checked in, as we bought an artist's print from their shop (even sharing with us some of their favorite pieces hanging around the building), and as we checked out. Both my husband and I decided that we are definitely staying here the next time we're in the area overnight.

Quaint boutique style hotel. Restaurant was very good. Recommend the whitefish! A little pricey but average for the area! Area has lots of cute shopping and great area restaurants! Love the Frankfort area!

A Great Boutique Hotel

We loved our stay! The only thing I would do different is have the A/C on upon arrival. It was very hot in the room, but it cooled down in no time. Thank you for taking such good care of us!

The older style was very cool. The staff was friendly. The only downfall was that there was not enough staff so the restaurant was not open for breakfast or lunch. There was complimentary coffee and prepacked danishes and muffins, just not aboe to get a cooked breakfast there. I was looking forward to the omlette bar.

Nice hotel
Room was nice and beds were very comfortable. Great location. Staff was very friendly. Bathroom was small and not in great shape. Had to have staff get cable working and then it shut down later and stopped working.

Hi Pamela! Thank you for your compliments! Yes, our 'standard' rooms are smaller rooms with smaller bathrooms. We think of them as typical bedrooms, but with large-screen TVs and dinette sets. Our 'luxury' rooms are much bigger with larger bathrooms. We do hope you'll stay again and can check out one of the 'luxuries'!
