“Great hotel”

Stayed here in September, very nice rooms and breakfast. very clean and close to lots of restaurants. would go back again,

“Great experience apart from the wifi”

Great location/hotel if you're looking for a authentic italian experience. Large rooms and fabulous terrace that you can use in the evening as well as breakfast. Wifi stopped working after the first day but no one seemed too bothered to fix it. We were below the terrace/breakfast room and it was pretty noisy early in the morning!

“A good experience”

The renovations of the old building were very well done, managing to retain the typical flavor, very different from the hotel-standard type. We felt that for one night we were living in a nice Trapani apartment, like everyone else in Trapani, which is a small lovely town, by the sea. The personnel was very gracious.

“Very comfortable hotel”

We chose Le Chiavi di San Francesco on the basis of other customer reviews and were not disappointed, you get apartment style facilities rather than just a hotel room and it is nice to have the additional space, with a kitchen area, sofa and table included in addition to bed and shower.

“Enjoyable few days”

Hotel called us to arrange transfer as arriving late. Good sized room, always clean, with good shower and aircon. Staff friendly and helpful. Centrally located.

“Charming”

Le Chiavi was true to form and worth its rating in accordance with the other reviews. As our Ryanair flight was delayed by nearly 3 hours it meant we missed the last of the public buses. However the host Marguerita was most kind and arranged a taxi to collect us from the airport. Although at a cost of 40 euro it was more than expensive and unfortunately we had not realised there were Terrevision buses still running at a fraction of the cost. We found it to be a charming bed&breakfast in a convenient location. The rooms are spacious and clean even though if you were staying more than 2or3 days it would be better to pay the supplement for the use of the kitchenette. Breakfast was a varied buffet in a tranquil setting on the rooftop terrace. The staff worked hard to keep up with demand when it was busy. The only negative aspect was the presence of a large tourist group which were allowed to take over the breakfast room in the mornings and were extremely rowdy when returning to the hotel after 1 am each night without consideration to other guests. That aside, our stay at Le Chiavi was a pleasant addition to an enjoyable holiday experience in the pretty city of Trapani.

“Good value for money”

The hotel is very central. A stone's throw away from the port if you want to visit the Islands and also situated in the historic centre, where many restaurants and bars are found. Very friendly staff and good value for money. Breakfast was a bit too much on the sweet side for our taste.
