My fiancé and I stayed for one night on 21st December and was very impressed from the moment the door was opened for us. A swift check in by a friendly yet professional reception team who made us feel very welcome. The room was lovely with a great view not to mention the huge and extremely comfortable bed! Breakfast was out of this world with something to cater for everyone's taste....wish I could have eaten more! We were so impressed we have booked again for 9th January and will definitely stay here whenever we are in London
Stayed on a very busy day in the pre-Xmas run up. Hotel staff could not be more accommodating. Room very clean & comfortable and we would definately stay again. We decided to park at Canary Wharf which was only a 10 minute walk away and we planned on shopping there anyway so it gave us somewhere to leave our bags.
Very minor, upon arrival for pre-evening drinks in the bar we were asked to take a seat and our order would be taken, these took 15 mins to order and another 15 mins to arrive, so we ended up having to drink them in a hurry to catch the shuttle bus, which is a lovely conveinent touch.
We booked for family including two teens and there was plenty of space for us all. On booking we requested in advance that the sofa bed was made up and also a rollaway bed (which we paid extra for) however we did have to request that this was supplied again before we went out for the evening - unfortunately this was a very old and saggy so not comfortable at all, which was not the expected standard.
"great hotel we were upgraded to an executive room"
the executive room which we were automatically upgraded to had fantastic view over thames and canary wharf aircon worked well & large flat screen tv worked the room was very big the staff were very helpful and efficient I/we will definitely stay there again on my next business trip to London/canary wharf ***** STAR HOTEL
This is a brilliant hotel...
the pool / jacuzz i/ foot spa / steam room were really relaxing and well equipped.
Thr room (standard) was a good size, immacculate and again well equipped whilst having great views of london and very quiet so you get lots of sleep!!
If you want a brilliant hotel with excellent staff, immacculate & clean whilst more or less 'next door' to the amenities at tower bridge then stay here....

Great hotel with a great fair priced bar. Bar tenders were very friendly. Room was a little small but still comfortable. Location wasn't too bad, many great pubs around an about a 10 minute walk from the tube. The area around it doesn't look all that nice but the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful.
We stayed on the 20th December for 2 nights to celebrate my partner's 30th birthday. When booking I asked if we could have a room with a nice view due to the birthday. When we arrived we had been given a complimentary upgrade to a mini suite, fabulous!! We also arrived in our room to find 2 slices of gorgeous chocolate cake also complimentary. The room was great with views across London. The staff were always very polite and eager to help. The location is also excellent for the O2 and facilities around Canary Wharf. Will definitely stay here again.
We were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary and as a surprise my cousin booked myself and my wife into the Holiday Inn in cavell street in London so we could enjoy the sights of the Shard in london and Brick Lane / Spitalfields markets and spend the night in a beautiful hotel. When my wife and I arrived we thought we were staying in a standard room at first but when we got there to check in the Holiday Inn reception staff were aware of us celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary as it was stated on there booking form. Holiday Inn staff wanted to make our stay even more special so they decided to upgrade our room from standard to an Executive room free of charge which we thought was very kind of the Holiday Inn to do for us.
