Hotel surrounded by high rise residential properties. I should imagine the pool area would be shade even at the height of Summer. Difficult to find parking even in January, hotel parking (self parking) at 13€ per day plus 20€ deposit for the key. Breakfast - Machine coffee and artificial orange juice. Overall a pleasant stay but I think the hotel star rating should be 3 stars.
Came at the start of July with a friend and it was a lovely place to relax but also with many options to do other things! All of the staff were very friendly and we're happy to help with any enquiries! There was different entertainment each night and there was always a friendly atmosphere. Overall I really enjoyed my stay and I will definitely be going back again!
To be upfront, this hotel is not a luxury hotel! It is very inexpensive, and the accommodation is basic. The hotel room contained a double bed, bedding, a mini fridge, personal safe box (for an extra fee), small flat screen TV and air conditioning unit.
The reception staff are friendly and speak English, although to varying degrees of proficiency and were always helpful. The rooms, while dated, were cleaned every day.
Breakfast buffet is included, and contains both standard English breakfast and continental breakfast. They do have a la carte dining in the evening, but we didn't try this as there was so much to choose from outside - why would you want to eat in your hotel?
The wi-fi only works in the reception area, and the small seating area on the first floor - but this generally wasn't a problem for us.
Whilst the hotel looks a bit tired and dated, it is certainly cheerful and very well located to enjoy the sea front. There is a supermarket a few doors up on the same street, and ATMs a few doors further than that. There is a small swimming pool in the front garden that is well maintained.
If you just want somewhere to rest your head and don't want to pay the earth, then I couldn't recommend this hotel enough. If you want more luxury and amenities from your hotel, then you'd best look elsewhere.
I'll be back!
I chose this hotel as my husband was unable to accompany me and would be on my own. It was ideal as the quieter pool was on the other side of the hotel from the main pool and was really intended for adults only and quiet and a good size to swim in. The hotel advertised good entertainment at night, which didn't disappoint, so I knew I had something to occupy me in the evening. I went half-board and the meal times were very flexible to suit every need. There was enough choice at breakfast and dinner which was always carefully monitored by the catering staff. Nearby were plenty of cafes and eating places for lunch and a well stocked supermarket at the end of the hotel drive. I was very impressed with the organisation in the hotel, in the dining room and main areas. I was on the 9th floor and there were 3 lifts, which was never a long wait to get one.
Hotel is located right on the lovely beach and near to a fantastic marina. Shame about jelly fish in the sea which put us of spending time down there.
Staff at hotel were not very helpful when I asked for help to check in on line the evening before are flight home . It had put the dampers on are holiday and we got stressed out over this . We eventually got it sorted at 03.00 a.m !! With the lovely night staff .
Hotel situated on the beach, very well located near the main attractions of the area of leisure, such as packages of …More
There is more than meets the stereotype to this Anglo-centric seaside resort. While most of Torremolinos is a brash high-rise heaven for fun-loving Brits, the low-rise western part is patronised by the Spanish and has a very different character. Soft golden sands stretch either side of town and there is a huge choice of entertainments by day and night. Aquapark is a white-knuckle water world; Tivoli World is the region’s major theme park.
