"Convenient Hotel"
Felt like summer in February, wouldn't personally relish the temperatures in August. Good value hotel, most rooms have a sea view. Road outside main entrance was a bit noisy. Rooftop heated pool made a real difference for a winter break - best place to relax with views over the whole bay and quiet at this time of year. Plenty of choice at mealtimes with children catered for in unlimited buffet format. TV in room shows BBC, French and German news channels, some of the Spanish channels showed the football. Efficient train runs every 20 mins to the airport and on to Malaga to the east, to the west are a park, a cable car and Fuengirola at the end of the line. Water park is nearby but only open in the summer. Beach was about half a mile down a steep alley lined with shops. Pleasant but quiet - none of the watersports had started for the season. Some reviews have noted minimal service and average quality of food which may be fair comment compared to a more expensive hotel.

Pocket Guide: Malaga Torremolinos Hotasa Hotels

There is more than meets the stereotype to this Anglo-centric seaside resort. While most of Torremolinos is a brash high-rise heaven for fun-loving Brits, the low-rise western part is patronised by the Spanish and has a very different character. Soft golden sands stretch either side of town and there is a huge choice of entertainments by day and night. Aquapark is a white-knuckle water world; Tivoli World is the region’s major theme park.
