“Not Impressed”

We were dissapointed with our first impression of Torre Del Grecco, very dirty and run down. It was a good distance from Pompei although we were made to believe our hotel would be ALOT closer. Pompei was an amazing experience which we would love to do again. I would recommend Pompei to anyone, although we would not recommend they stay outside Pompei itself.

Area recommendations
I would recommend to anyone who appreciates abit of history to go visit Pompei, it was an amazing experience being able to walk to the top of Mount Vesuvius. Something I would love ot do again in a few years time.

“Hotel Holidays”

Hotel Holidays was an acceptable place to stay and was a good value for our family trip to Pompeii. We would have enjoyed our trip more if we had stayed closer to Pompeii, however. Also, I was under the impression that the hotel was on the beach, but there is a road between the hotel and the beach. Seemed like it was once a first-class, four star hotel, that had a few years on it/seen better days.

“à conseiller pour visiter la région, bon point de départ pompei, vesuve, naples, capri...”

Le personnel parle français, très accueillant et disponible. Donne des bons conseils de circuits de visites. Chambre propre et agréable, petit déjeuner face à l'ile de Capri. Nous avons passé 5 jours agréables, très bon rapport qualité prix et parking gratuit fermé.

“small hotel in very small town”

We planned a trip to Pompei/Vesuvio and this town was perfect to stay for two nights. The hotel is cheap and it reflects in the room and service, the US standard is maximum** but generally clean. The rooms are OK, we had a Capri room with a nice balcony.For going to the beach you have to pay in addition.The breackfast was not so delicious and very limmited.The dinner in the restaurant was a BIG DESASTER!!! the risotò did not taste and the mashed potatoes as made out of powder. However, the personell was polite and ready to help especially at the reception.
