Great location for walking everywhere

Posted 17-Sep-2014
Pros: Great location/Price reasonable/Bed was most comfortable/Room was a good size
Cons: Just basic house keeping
Location: Able to walk to Younge Street and the Rogers Centre. Never took a cab as you could walk everywhere.
As mentioned, I liked the location and the price for being downtown. I just like my room to be dusted and the bath tub to be cleaned on a daily basis while staying there.

Close to hospitals.

Had a massage on site, very nice. Breakfast included, also able to shop without leaving the building. Many restaurants in the area. A few one way streets, confusing to get to parking or back to main street.

Cheap hotel, close to the city.

Posted 04-Aug-2014
Hotel was fine, we didn't have any problems with it. Provided a free continental breakfast typical of the chain hotels in North Ammerica. Room was very large but poorly lit, as is common in North American hotels. Located in Chinatown.

It was the lowest star level.

Pros: I did not like the fact that I could not get a refund when I refused to stay at the hotel.
Cons: I would still have refused to stay there.
Location: It was not a great location. Too far from where I wanted to go.
I did not like the location of the hotel. I did not expect to check into the lobby on the third floor. I did not like the set-up of the layout of the hotel.

Hotel at Super 8

Posted 21-Jul-2014
Pros: Location only
Cons: Beds were uncomfortable. Room smell was unpleasant
Location: Restaurants, shops are aplenty
The front office girl could be friendlier upon checking in.

The room is a little too bright.

The curtains and window are far apart which allows sun light to come in, which is a bit hard for people to get a good sleep.

Great location! Nice staff.

Pros: Location. Nice staff. Decent room.
The rooms are pretty standard. Location was great, right in Chinatown. Walking distance to the Eaton Center, the Rogers Centre and the Air Canada Centre. Tons of shopping and restaurants around.

Nice and welcoming hotel in Chinatown

Posted 11-Jul-2014
Once we pulled up to the hotel Super 8 I was slightly worried about how safe an area we were in when I realized it was in Chinatown. However I was definitely mistakened in being worried. The staff and facilities and general neighborhood were absolutely lovely. Very warm and welcoming and very well kept. It was on the cheaper side of hotels as well. Room size was perfect too. Continental breakfast left a bit to be desired but other than that it was perfect. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in downtown Toronto for little expense.

Very convenient in china town and clean

Posted 07-Jul-2014
Good location in china town close enough to down town. The parking under the hotel is very affordable and the place is clean. We had a great day running to the ferries and then running through the Toronto islands. Reasonable price

Awesome night

Concierge was extremely friendly. There was some miscommunication about the booking but it was resolved quickly. Asked us to keep the noise down after 11 but were free to do as we wished before then.
