Major updates needed. Mattress sunken in and in need of replacement. Furniture worn out and dated. Musty smelling rooms.

Gem of a hotel

Posted 10-Jul-2015
Great location. Huge room. Helpful staff. Free breakfast and wifi. Really good hotel in an ideal location - walk distances from most sights plus near all the street car lines. Couldn't fault the hotel.

On transit line in Chinatown

Posted 09-Jul-2015
Cons: Exterior signage was poor. Hard to find.
Location: Trolley or walking can take you just about anywhere. Harborfont, ferry to the islands, shopping, Rogers Centre / ACC.
Quiet room. Room view was inside of Chinese shopping mall. While this was a bit odd, it meant we did not have an exterior wall, so the room was very quiet. It was comfortable and well maintained. Front desk very helpful. Being on the transit line was great. Picked up trolley to go to Air Canada Centre, Eaton Centre and Hockey Hall of Fame. The only negative is that if you wanted to eat something not Chinese you had to take the trolley or walk 6 blocks (McDonald's was 4 blocks away).

Close to Downtown--walking distance to many attrac

Posted 07-Jul-2015
Cons: Parking was confusing- upon arrival there was only street parking. Parking is underground.
Friendly staff. Located in the heart of Chinatown, an excellent cultural experience. Walking distance to many attractions. Pet friendly as well.

Overall the stay was good, beds were comfortable but some minor repairs need to be done to room especially bathrooms. The breakfast ran out of the main specialty (waffles) which should not happen.

Decent hotel for the price.

Hotel looked nice, and had a comfortable atmosphere. It was in a good location close to public transit. Overall stay was good except for some black hairs we found on the bed linens that did not belong to either my boyfriend or me. Also the shower/bathtub was a little bit dirty because of some mildew growing along the sides of the tub and lots of pink soap scum all through out the grout of the tiles. Probably due to a lack of cleanliness. My boyfriend and I both agree that they were just minor annoyances. We would indeed stay at this hotel again.
