Decent hotel for the price.

Posted 30-Jun-2015
Hotel looked nice, and had a comfortable atmosphere. It was in a good location close to public transit. Overall stay was good except for some black hairs we found on the bed linens that did not belong to either my boyfriend or me. Also the shower/bathtub was a little bit dirty because of some mildew growing along the sides of the tub and lots of pink soap scum all through out the grout of the tiles. Probably due to a lack of cleanliness. My boyfriend and I both agree that they were just minor annoyances. We would indeed stay at this hotel again.

Is 1/2 star possible?

Posted 25-Jun-2015
Pros: Location only !
Cons: Everything
Location: Close to downtown
Let me start by stating that the ONLY thing that we found positive about the hotel was the location...Close to restaurants, bars and attractions . I'll start from the beginning . The parking garage hard to find from the street and dimly lit . When we checked in we were told about the charge to park ( $ 12.00 per day ) that was fine, but if I wanted to leave the lot and come back I have to buy a pass for an additional $ 19.00 per day . When we got to the room the surprises started . The air conditioner was on low which is no problem if you can change the temperature . That can't be done without the remote control, none in the room so I called the front desk and was told to come and get the remote which I did . The remote control housing was broken but it worked so no big deal . After settling in we turned on the tv but the remote for the tv wouldn't work , another call to the front desk and another walk down the dark hallway and I had new batteries for the tv remote , all is good on the television front . The condition of the room was the WORST that I have ever seen no less paid for . The aformentioned A/C had dirt in the louvers, maybe it was cobwebs. The floor was not level , the carpet was so dirty I wouldn't walk in my bare feet . The bathroom had cracked tile and the toilet paper holder was literally falling out of the wall . The furniture was gouged to the bare wood . Under the tv stand was dirt,a candy wrapper,a bottle cap and a nickel Space is limited I could go on .

Budget Hotel with all the basic

Posted 14-Jun-2015
The hotel location is very convenient and has everything you need from a basic hotel. Maybe a couple more functional washer and dryer in the laundry room with a coin operated laundry detergent will be perfect.

Runtergewirtschaftet

Zimmer völlig veraltet. Nicht sauber. Silikon verschimmelt am Waschbecken und zur Hälfte lose. Schmutziger ekliger Teppich . Wasserflecken an der Decke. Völlig miserables Frühstück. Nie wieder

It suited our Purposes

Posted 09-Jun-2015
Pros: Convenience
Cons: Staff, maybe
Nothing special, but it suited our purposes just fine! We came into Toronto for the night and took a room for the 4 of us. Bed were a bit odd, sloping, but comfortable... Staff weren't the friendless, but were fine.. Answer all our questions, but nothing add unless asked. Parking garage was a bit daunting.. low ceilings for a pick up truck, but maybe most underground parking garages are this way..Will bring car next time in town

Great for business, straight to the point.

Cons: A little bit more variation in breakfast, especially the fruit bowl, would be well received. Herbal teas would also be great.
Location: Plenty of restaurants, shops and the like. Kensington market to the west is amazing and within walking distance.
The hotel is located in a good position. Just far enough away from the finance district to give you a good walk each morning and evening. This is exactly what I want when travelling for a conference. The gym is almost non-existent, and calling the breakfast minimalist would be flattery. The hotel is clean. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. My room was large and fit for purpose. The bed was comfortable and the facilities well maintained. If you are looking for good value accommodation and only plan to be in your hotel to sleep, this is the perfect place.

Great Location

Posted 29-May-2015
Pros: Loation
Cons: As with most motels with free breakfast this can always be improved but no biggie I am a breakfast person so I go out anyways.
Location: This is located right in China town which is pretty cool but it is also super convenient to jump a streetcar to anywhere in the city.
My girlfriend and I booked this hotel on location alone. It is super convenient to the amazing public transportation system in Toronto. When we got to the hotel we were a little concerned seeing as this hotel is on the top floor of an indoor Chinese market. There are a couple floors of shops. The hotel itself is really nice! The staff was very friendly and the room was nice and clean. I wish we could have dropped the AC down a couple notches but that wasn't a huge deal. Just a heads up. do not use their currency exchange. The rate was far below what some of the local exchange places were offering. Breakfast is standard motel fare with waffles, cereal, toast, bagels, etc.
